As most of you know by now, Jeff has sang on more than 100 (great) songs with Talisman. I'm sure you all do know that Marcel Jacob wrote almost every song for Talisman, most of them with Jeff. Marcel is not only a great musican (amazing bass player of course, but also great at guitar, drums , keyboards), but he is also a great songwritter. Jeff has said many times that the connection the 2 of them have is something very special and he thinks of Marcel as a true brother.
My question to You is, Do you think Journey should involve Marcel in the songwritting of the upcoming cd or would you rather see the songs written by the band members only

I'm sure Marcel would do a great job, and I'm sure he'd be honored to help, but I think Journey has plenty o talent in the writing department. They might enlist someone like Marcel to help them go outside the box a bit, but I doubt they'll be needing any help.

Marcel rules....no doubt.

But Journey won't need any outside help creating classic new music. I have no doubts!

Sorry if it came across as I was suggesting that the NEEDED help. The band can produce some killer songs without any help.
The ONLY reason I asked this question is because I personaly think that Marcel knows how to write PERFECT songs for JEFF's VOICE. Plus I think if Neal was involved in a song with Marcel, it would be one of the best songs either of them has ever written (IMO).
