I've read 2-3 times that Nightranger may well be supporting Journey when they hit Europe, does anyone know if thats true or not ?
Certainly hope so......

Night Ranger has a very nice catalog to compliment Journey's. Brad Gillis is a monster on guitar, too.

C'mon. Tell us how you REALLY feel. I know it's killing you. Night Ranger is quite possibly one of the finest all around bands to record in the last 25 years. Journey should be honored if they open for them.

Night Ranger rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

However, considering Jack Blades is touring with Tommy Shaw (I have tickets) I would say them opening is highly unlikely.

Saw Night Ranger support Journey in Wilmington, DE on the Arrival tour. They were supposed to open on the final night of that tour in York, PA but were grounded.

The date? Sept 12th 2001 (now you know why)

I was there.

Are you saying that with regard to the European support slot, or coz your not agreeing with Saint John about Night Ranger in general?

I've seen Night Ranger at least 5 times. They've never disappointed. They brought Dennis Deyoung onstage once for 2 or 3 of his own songs. While they weren't the greatest songs (Lady, SMB and another) it was AMAZING how strong his voice was. He really had an electric stage presence.

A couple of months ago I saw Dennis DeYoung at HOB in Atlantic City with Rik Emmett from Triumph opening. Excellent show! DDY has not lost anything vocally.

I've seen Night Ranger a ton of times. Always fun, high energy.

Let's pitch in and buy Deano a Night Ranger t-shirt. Think he'd wear it? :?:

I know where to get it for free.

And NO, I am not advocating that. Just sayin.

But if I DID, I also laid out over 100 bucks for 3 concert tix for them.

Dennis DeYoung will be at SeaWorld in Orlando 2/10, but it's the same night Journey is in Pompano. I would love to see him, especially if you say he still has his vocals! Maybe he'll come back someday :(
