This has got to be a major lip synch fest:

2006 Milton Keynes , UK. 06/03/06 @ National Bowl - Monsters Of Rock / Proshot (A+++) 69:58 - 1 DVD

Thinking about getting it for posterity. Anyone ever seen this vid?

Got the audio boot, but I've never seen the video. From what I've heard, there must have been some lippin' going on. Steve's voice sounded too good.

I'm thinking a pro shot video would be interesting to see.

I think you're right. Anything from early 2006 would at least be historically significant, especially if you can catch anything fishy.

It can't have been a screen shot Dirg because they didn't use the big screens all day until the headliners, Deep Purple, took the stage. No idea why, seemed crazy to me. And the venue weren't filming it - I was pretty close to the stage so I'd have noticed any cameras rolling.

So not quite sure what they mean by pro-shot. Maybe the filmer was a pro but he wasn't filming in a professional capacity that day!

I have the full show, just watch Open Arms then go back and watch Open Arms from the 2001 dvd,his whole body language changed watch how he used to draw the mic away from his mouth etc now its glued to his mouth.By the time they hit Europe it was all tape bar Lovin Touchin...
What is food for thought is the Generations material live was taken from the studio recordings, now if he cannot even do that stuff his career is surely over from a live perspective. :?

You have the whole show??? I have most of it but was unaware there was a full version out there. Mine is missing about 3 or 4 songs. Good quality though. Fancy trading 'bionic'???

I need to get this Milton Keyens show.

Just got a good quality late show with Augeri from Jones Beach this summer where he went live again. One of the shows where he keeps leaving the stage and Deen takes over sometimes in mid-song.

That would be interesting to see. I'll have to track that one down.

Milton Keynes is worth a look, pretty good quality. SA misses a line midway through BGTY - he's nohere near the mike but you hear his vocals - its clear their his vocal coming through the speaker and not Deens.

Not necessarily. Augeri really never sang his own Journey songs that well.
I used to speculate on whether or not Neal and Jon just wrote songs pretending Perry was still in the band.

In fact, my open challenge still stands; I'm waiting for someone, ANYONE, from here to throw up a live cut of Higher Place that sounds remotely good.

A tour de force vocal like "Faith in the Heartland", where the vocal is even more stratospherically high-pitched than Arrival, would've been hard for Augeri to pull off nightly even if he was in his peak. I imagine he would've been ducking notes like mad.

For all u two-ton, gizzard-necked, cloven-hoofed Augeri idolaters out there reaching for your high blood pressure medication as u read this, all i can say is you know I'm right.
And if you don't, you're not nearly as devout a fan as you think you are.
