Tanglewood(Lenox) is off for sure.Seems like the band cancelled all the Summer shows. :?
Perhaps they need the time off to work on the album.
Maybe there will be an official input on this.

Journey to Lenox scrapped by band

Journey, the popular '80s rock band that was scheduled to play Tanglewood on the Fourth of July, has canceled all of its summer performances, including the local show.

Boston Symphony Orchestra officials made the announcement yesterday afternoon, just five days after the concert was slated. No explanations were given as to why the show was called off. Efforts to contact the band's publicist were unsuccessful.

The whole ordeal left local Journey fans disappointed.

Brian K. Harrington, 50, of Pittsfield, was trying to get tickets to the concert when he heard the news.

"Are you kidding me?" he said. "I was looking forward to that show. We need more bands like that around here."

Harrington said he would like to see more pop acts playing Tanglewood and Wahconah Park throughout the summer. This way, he said, the area would benefit financially and he wouldn't have to drive to places like Saratoga (N.Y.) Performing Arts Center or the Tweeter Center in Mansfield to hear mainstream music.

"We don't get the big acts around here," Harrington said. "If Tanglewood would get someone like Rod Stewart for July Fourth, they'd sell that place out. Or the Eagles, Crosby, Stills and Nash, or Neil Young."

BSO officials said they are currently searching for a new artist to play the wildly popular July Fourth event. Information will be forthcoming, but no hints were disclosed.
