Looks like management is making an effort now. Did they do promotional stuff like this before for their shows?? (Or was that not a management thing...IDK...

They all seem so jacked up in that clip, looks like Jonathon is finally happy again. As much as I miss Steve P fronting Journey, if he doesn't want to anymore.......I'm totally ok with it. I don't know if it was seeing Steve in person and seeing he is happy with his life regardless or if it is the full-on energy and passion that Jeff has brought back! But I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL 2008!!!

It's great to see this band with a renewed lease of life and vitality. Jeff has really re-energized this band and given them the spark of enthusiasm! Way to go, guys! Keep rockin'!

I like it!!

Saw them on the 4th of July before, but it was in Canada! Like what the hell were Journey AND I doing in Canada for the 4th of July?

I don't think so...I found this this morning:

Mardi Gras will be rocking a bit harder this year thanks to Journey and Styx. The groups have signed on to play the Endymion Extravaganza, which is a black-tie private gala at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans following the Endymion Parade on February 17th. The show will also feature American Idol champion Taylor Hicks and R&B legend Al Green, along with the local bands the Chee Weez, the WiseGuys, and the Topcats. Journey and Hicks will also serve as Grand Marshals of the parade.

A video message from Journey about the Mardi Gras show is available at the official journeymsuic.com website. It includes a bunch of footage from last summer's tour with new lead singer Jeff Scott Soto.
Journey's next show is tomorrow (Friday, February 9th) at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, Florida.
