I was in H.S. in the early 80's, but still managed to sneak into some shows now and then. Never heard of them, tho. I saw the Ravyns and Kix a lot.
When VH1 did the first 24 hours of MTV last year for MTV's anniversary, they played a couple of Bootcamp songs.
Tim Camp the founder of Bootcamp, now performs under the name Slim Man,and does kind of a Big Band/Jazz/Lounge type of act.Check him out at

The Ravyn's were HUGE in B-more in the early 80's.Their big hit was Raised On The Radio, from Fast Times at Ridgemount High soundtrack.
Rob Fahey formed a band called Word Of Mouth after The Ravyns, and now does an acoustic act.
He has had well known substance problems over the years, which probably accounts for the way he looks these days.
Kyf Brewer went on to form the band Company of Wolves, that did one album I believe for Geffen.
COW also featured the late Frankie LaRocka on drums. EXCELLENT record if you can find it.
Lee Townsend and Tim Steele formed Never Never after The Ravyns, though neither are still with NN.
Lee retired from music for the most part a few years ago.He does various pick up gigs in the Mid Atlantic.
Tim can be found playing Cajun Music with The Crawdaddys and they frequently play clubs in festivals in the Mid Atlantic.
