I've already seen Deen and Friga on some news clips. No sign of Jeff, Neal or Ross. I'm sure they are out throwing beads and indulging in some liquid libation!

They just inverviewed Neal from the floor!! he said they were supposed to start playing about 2 but it was looking more like 2 or 3. he said whenever and that they were gonna rock the place.

he had a tux on I think with no tie.

I was reading the Florida thread and I heard him talking from downstairs! ha! the laptop is streaming in the kitchen!

they did a spot on them earlier and they keep replaying the parade footage of the band throwing beads> Poor Jon!

Watching too, chica! I'm afraid they aren't going to broadcast Journey, though. Said they were about to wrap up!

during one commentary, the announcer said that when asked why Journey had never done it before, one of the band members said that the decision was made by their handlers at the time.

they also commented that Journey seemed to be the good will ambassadors this week and had attended several other parades. they talked about them being in New Orleans this summer (wasn't it in the fall, Gayle??) and how well they did then.

also, they will re-run the live broadcast thoroughout the night and tomorrow if you missed it.

This is probably cause for my dismissal from the board, but I've never seen a mardi gras and would love to see the Journey gig, but we cannot get Fox here - if anyone records it can they PM me so I can at least get a glimpse.

We tried to get tickets for the show at the super dome, with Journey, Styx, Hicks, and Al, but it was sold out (if I was searching the right thing). We already had it figured out to stay with our old neighbors. But oh well

That's what I saw. I do know that Endymion is from Greek Mythology, he was a beautiful shepherd....in fact, part of one of my fave poems.
