DID I not tell you people that STING NEEDED A CHECK??? This tour is not for the average fan, this tour is for the elite only. Think Striesand or EAGLES concerts and what she/they charge on tour.. same thing. how funny that all capitalist haters in this industry love to charge 300-1500 or more for a ticket and think thats okay, but shit on everyone else who make a buck for a product they sell! (sorry to vent....)

While all this is completely insane and even disrespectful to the fans,I couldn't help thinking...Anyone doubts any longer the fact that these monster bands reunite 80% for the money and 20% for whatever reasons that implies ego, nostalgia, more ego,a bit of music and some more ego?

This website is not like Ticketmaster. That is not the face value of that ticket obviously. It’s just like selling a ticket on eBay, the artist only gets their cut from the face value price of the person that bought it initially. I could be wrong though.

I'm with Larry on this one.
Bring back all the great grave sticken
ones and then maybe I would consider it.
Like I could even get my hands or tits on
a $6,000 ticket.
Musicians and their egos slay me.

Hey, let's not get crazy and start bashing Sting and the band. Ticket prices for the Police actually range from in the $50 range for the cheap seats up to a little over $400 for the best seats in the house. If you buy from the site mentioned or somewhere like ebay, you're buying from an individual scalper. THEY are the ones making ridiculous money on this, not the Police. I had to pay over a hundred bucks to see Journey from the middle of the Hollywood Bowl last year, so the Police's ticket prices are no more for the elite than anyone else's.

Yes, but what blows is - how do those scalpers get those tix before the 'die-hard' fans even get the chance to? I know many times, even with fan-club sales etc., we don't get the best seats.. yet these assholes do and then sell them for THAT kind of mental money.. I mean seriously $6k ??
