Thanks, Nora! I can't see what version this is on YouTube, I am guessing House of Blues. I love it when I don't even know I am fucking up lyrics though. On so many songs, I'm singing the way I've heard it sung, and then maybe would go back to the lyrics at some point and say "He's singing WHAT?" Ask The Lonely is one of those - I've seen it written as "You've been picked and it's over," which sounds like the beginning of a game of duck duck goose, so I've always sang what I've heard, as "You've been thinking it's over." I still don't know what is right.

Of course on several songs every now and then I'll just wholesale fuckup lyrics, which could have happened here (See the Can't Tame The Lion video for more evidence of that!).

Larry, I can't say I have heard Fran Cosmo, I'll have to look that one up! Hopefully he sounds a little like Steve Perry... :D

Hey Jeremey, I had to actually do a google search for the lyrics. I wasn't sure myself!! Regardless, it didn't change the job you did covering the song, and much like Perry did a few times, I actually LIKE when singers criss-cross lyrics slightly. All in all, great job. Oh yeah....at least we know you were live!!

How about when you TOTALLY forget lyrics and just end up "mush mouthing".
I feel like a total douche when I do that.

Usually with me, I'll sing the same lyric over and over ("in the midst of a dream, I swear I saw you") if I forget something, however during our last Santa Fe show, while being preoccupied with lack of monitors I just mumbled through the entire "Troubled Child," much to dcvader, stevew, and AR & his bro's dismay. Have been gun shy about that song ever since.

Wow, nice job, Jeremey! By the way, Fran Cosmo is probably most well-known for being a member of Boston.
