Tapegate is kind of like a struggling football team where the quarterback takes all the blame for the teams lack of performance, even though the whole team is at fault. There is one focal point of everything, and a lead singer is like the quarterback of the team. Whatever happens, good, or bad, it goes straight to the quarterback. Augeri is the quarterback in this situation, and there's nothin he can do about it, even though the whole band should equaly be critisized.
