Aerosmith play Hyde Park London...Tylers show on tape??

Aerosmith have just announced a date in London's Hyde Park my girlfriend wants to go i am not to fussed,what concerns me is i have heard Tylers show is on tape and i object to wasting money on mime artists when i want to here singers...anyone know if it true?

Never heard anything myself so no idea if it's true but if you look at these pictures from the recent show at the Hard Rock Cafe (scroll down to 23 Feb) I can't see any way how he could get away with using a tape and being so up close and personal with the crowd. Look at the pic with the very pretty girl - he's practically singing in her ear!

The backups for Aerosmith are on tape. I don't think Tyler's leads are.

Not for one damn second do i believe that Tyler would revert to tape.

I watched the 2002 Japan bootleg DVD the other day, and he hits way too many bum notes for it to be tape. Not that it was bad, but his phrasing changes a lot from show to show, it's a much different style than Steve Perry, who (IMO) 90% of the time sang the same melody and phrases every time. Whereas Tyler is more like Freddie Mercury in that he adapts his phrasing and melody to suit his voice at any given moment.
