Kind of cool, well, sort of.
Posted: Sun Mar 04, 2007 12:27 pmI've been watching, or I should say I'm listening to, a DVD of a tribute to Ralph Stanley(bluegrass) with my husband. Patty Loveless was one of the guests. As part of her tribute she said that Ralph Stanley was to bluegrass what "Elvis, the Beatles, and Journey" were to rock and roll.
Not a lot of people here may know it, but Ralph Stanley and Patty Loveless are both really big in their genres. I think it's kind of cool that she, who's been in the music industry for years, ranks Journey in the same class as Elvis and the Beatles.
