So true.

I used to grab songs off the 2nd side of an album, be it Journey, REO, whatever...and lift lyrics off those songs and write em into "love letters." Hey, laugh all you want assholes, it got me laid many times.

I owe Kevin Cronin and Friga some serious kudos.

I used "She Don't Know Me" by Bon Jovi as a poem in high school English.

I starts out okay, then he butchers it from the middle on. Should have lowered it. The guitar player was pretty good, the keys needed to be louder and using a different sound. I give them credit for trying though, any Journey is good Journey even bad Journey If that makes any sense

Not too bad. It is interesting that they are doing a song that most people (in the general public) haven't heard.

I just never really like that song all that much. :? I might like it if Jeff was singing it. The music was good, but the vocals sounded kind of runtogetherandfuzzy to me.

i hate the saying well nobody in the general public ever heard it, or no one will know that song. i dont wanna hear a cover band play seperate ways or wheel in the sky, sometimes i wish journey wouldnt play it. how is any nre song ever gonna be a classic if nobody ever covers it or askes radio to start playing NEW STUFF!!! Radio now makes me so sick!!!!! i do not wanna hear led zepplin any more!!! way overplayed. i play in a band and i always pic songs that i like, and songs that i know are good weather or not anyone has heard of it. Radio need to remember it not 1970 anymore.. let it go. i dont wanna keep suporting a band and buy there new cd and they play only one song from it or zero sometimes and the keep hearing the shame show over and over and over again. I know you have tp play soem stuff people know and the songs that got you where you are but if your not willing to play your new stuff they why make new music. once you have you core songs it seems like some band s dont care to move forward. i hope journey dosent do that. go forward dont stay in one spot who cares what radio does, were the ones that buy the music and pay for the tickets. sorry i just vented abit... long day. I love it when a cover band picks a song or two that nobody might know, because it no diffrent whn you play an orgional tune(like we do) cause nobody knows that either. if everyboy played the sames songs it would get real boring real quick, radio is killing music, MTV killed the videos.

I'm not gonna lie, I claimed Blue Oyster Cult's "In Thee" as my own original and played it for a girl two weeks ago. It got me some mad action.

Infact if they throw Higher Place into tonights set at Nottingham, it would be the dogs bollocks. Its a great song, so what if Arrival didn't sell many? Roll on 9.00pm, I'm there.

I had a boyfriend once who swore he wrote Squeeze's "Tempted" & played it w/one of the guys in the band before they were famous. Then they stole it from him. He didn't get lucky w/me but maybe it worked on other women?

I just love all these true confessions. Do ur women know of all ur dirty deeds :-)
