Petition to add "One More" to the setlist!

Postby ProgRocker53 » Sat Mar 10, 2007 8:07 am

I don't care if you open with it or not, "One More" is a BADASS tune that's sure to pump up the crowd.

It's bombastic. It's hard-hitting. It's forceful. It's epic.

All members of the band can really let loose on this one. It's manly, it's splitting, it's everything I embrace and love about rock.

Come on, Jeff. I know you have it in you. Push for a lil' "One More" here and there, bub. If nothing else, you'll make my day!

I posted this in the Manchester boot thread too, but here's One More live w/Augeri. Neal rules all on this one.

MMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmm the more I think about this, gimme Castles Burning. Love the extremely heavy blues/rock feel and it has no goofy strings which come DAMN near close to wrecking One More for me.

Hey JSS,

I say add Message of Love, I can see it in your eyes and Troubled Child. It wouldn't hurt if you got the boys to add Someday Soon, Good Morning Girl and Colors of the Spirit.

Oooh, I'll sign the petition for "One More"!! That's a friggin' awesome song.

JSS would rock on that one. And I'm not gonna complain if "Troubled Child" shows up either.

I think One More and OOHW would make a tremendous combination. The lyrics and sentiment in both of those songs just scream to be played at this time in this country and the UK.

"One More"? Cool.

Ok, that logs in at 5:29. Depending on the venue, it might be enough time to piss, get a beer and get back to my seat! :o

I WANT to still hate it, like I always did but upon spinning it lately I'm starting to think I've underrated TBF.
It's not Gens and it's not ROR (Save the "Thank God for small favors" jokes, NIG :P) but I'm starting to really dig listening to all but the worst ballads on this album.
I'm getting fuckin old. :(

I know. Same exact thing happened to me. The more I heard it the more it grew on me.
Some of them I still hate (one word: reggae. blech!!!), but I too feel originally I underrated TBF.

"Open Arms" is NOT necessary at all in a concert setting. IBAWY is one of the best Journey ballads, bar none. It's awesome and should replace "Open Arms" permanently.
