How very sad.... I guess you never know what some people go through no matter who they are. I have been cranking Boston and RTZ since it happened. He will be missed.

yea , ya know.. i never met him,, dont know him,, BUT since this terrible occurance, ive gone back and revisited his albums, and am enjoying them all over again,, sorta a celebration of his life ,,

I've always wondered what those songs would've sounded like had Delp sang on those songs. He did get writing credit for the title track, which is one of Boston's best tracks, in my opinion.

Yes, it was all Fran Cosmo on lead vocals on that album. Delp toured with them to support it, though.

I kno many people think that suicide is a cowardly act, and for the most part I agree.
But you never know what kind of emotional or psychological pain someone is in.
Sometimes life is too much to bear for people.

This is Tragic. Those who know me personally understand what Brad's voice
and Toms music have meant to me. I think Tom could have done more for
Brad throughout the years, one had the riches, one struggled to send his two
kids to college, those who have also chatted with Micky (his ex who STILL adores him)know it goes even farther. This by no means makes this his fault, but it didnt help.I cant imagine what his fiancee is going thru, or Micky and his kids.

Walk On along with More Than A Feeling are true Boston gems,my absolute faves.Cosmo did a great job on the album,sure,he couldn't match the vocals of Delp,but I like what he did.Maybe because the song really got to me.

I thought about what you say...just like I wonder how would have "Arrival" sounded like with Perry's voice. :wink:

But in the end a good song is a good song.

The reason he got a writing credit was that that song had originally been written and called Rock On years before. TS changed it to Walk On and recorded it with Cosmo and gave Delp a writing credit for helping create the original.

Correct. Brad had already commited to barry by the time Tom was ready for him.
There are a couple reasons why he did the tour to support the album, the love
of Toms band was not one of them.
