JC must be a happy guy right now! 8)

Here's the announcement:

Jonathan Cain's song "Faithfully" reached the Number 1 spot on mainstream AC radio charts today.

When reached overseas on the Journey tour, Jonathan had this to say: "It has been exciting watching the reaction the "Faithfully duet" is having at radio. This project has been near and dear to my heart.I hope our success will continue and continue down the path of being a successful solo artist."

That seems really weird to me because neither I nor anyone that I have talked to has heard it on the radio. :?

Considering AC has about 4 total songs in its rotation, it's not hard to believe. Cain's version sucks. Shit, Perry could re-do every ballad in the Journey catalog and have about 15 straight # 1 hits. Friga has lost all touch with reality if: a) he thinks he can sing ANY song Perry did and do it any sort of justice, and b) he thinks being # 1 on AC is an accomplishment. Safely zipping my pecker into my pants after an 18 pack of Bud Light is more of an accomplishment than Friga's "# 1" hit. What bullshit.

You have completely lost it.

Without Friga, Your boyfriend would have 2/3rds less top 40 hits. Ever consider that? Friga saved Perry's ass, and also made him a rich man. Fuck, you think it's all Espee or nothing. What's wrong with you?

What did Perry write, ON HIS OWN? LTS. Party's Over. Wow, impressive. My farting asshole could write 2 songs in 20 years.

You just made your own debate grave with that fuckin' post pal. I know Perry bombed with FTLOSM, but what has Friga (Mr. song writing God to you) had that EVER cracked the Top 40? Perry had Street Talk and a few singles off of it ON HIS OWN. Where are Friga's hits? I forgot, he was too busy playing away behind the whale while the biggest farce in AOR history took place. How many of those farcical shows did you attend? Friga send you a refund yet?

Game, Set, Match!!!!! As bitter as people may be at Perry for hanging it up. At least he never ripped any fans off by lipping the way the REST of the band did.

Friga has Faithfully as a sole writing credit. Perry never wrote a song that good.

As far as farcical shows, I am the ONE motherfucker who stepped up and stopped it. Nobody else had the fucking guts to do it, and I mean NO ONE! Why the fuck are you lumping me in with Gate? I saved this fucking band; or at least had a huge role in it.

At least. Look what's happened since. Journey is the best they've been since Frontiers. Thanks RD, from the bottom of my Journey loving heart.

No, I want idiot bitches like you to shut your piehole when you are clearly outmatched.

Ok, I will take a medal, because if it wasn't for me, you wouldn't be able to make the post you did, because Journey would be done, period.

The plan was to move on after the DL tour. Journey was going to be put out to pasture. NOW, you want to make another smartass remark?

Maybe so. I didn't even get into downloading bootlegs until after all this stuff hit the fan but I definitely would've put it out there if I'd have happened onto it. Not that I would've been happy about it but, then again, I wasn't happy when I heard about it from other sources, either.

What they flying crap are you talking about? Extricate your head from your backside.

I'm not saying I would've sent it to the papers but I darn well would've gotten the word out at least on these forums. Other than that, I wouldn't have had a clue to even who would find it interesting considering Journey's not exactly the word on everyone's lips these days.

Hey Deano, shouldn't Perry get a few bonus points for never working with a "sappy limp wristed, crossdressing Eurofag."?
