Saw him last year, and about 75% of the audience were drummers. There was a side part of the stage where we could literally stand 5 feet behind him (blocked by a 4 foot high wall). An un-effing-believable experience.

Steve is doing a drum clinic at UNT in April and then a show with the jazz ensemble.

that is gonna rock. it's only a 7 hour drive........

SS is pretty incredible - saw him with VI. Funny, I was in Fry's (music/computer store) a month ago & while browsing I saw a Steve Smith DVD, I think a drum clinic one & then also saw some Gregg Rolie CDs. Seems surprising to find these in a store.
