Just curious what you all think.

My vote is # 3.
I would love to see them fulfilling the # 1 option but I'm not sure WHAT it takes to change the crappy music scene nowadays.

I also know that # 6 is just a fairy tale, but I had to add it for the sake of our Loony moments.

Any other options besides these?

Shania...What the fuck? Awesome poll. I'm torn between 1, 3 and the last. It will be a combination. Perry is getting ready...that is a fact. He'll save these fuckers again. Ross is late on the gas bill.

Shania,

You forgot #7:
"Robert Fleischman replaces JSS, the band has 6 consecutive #1 albums between 2007-2015, and as a consequence, Journey Mach 5 is a unanimous ROR HOF selection. That's my prediction.

Sadly it will fade away, much like Van Halen. Still hopeful though.

Seriously, it's getting old dude. He isn't getting ready for anything other than filling out his SSI papers. Either throw up some proof or stop rambling about it. Fuck, Perry isn't doing anything.

That made juice squirt outta my nose! Thanks, 7!
BTW- I'll vote for that one only if they replace Neal w/ Vinnie Vincent!

I'm going with #3 too. In my heart I don't believe # 6 will happen, I would love to be wrong though. And I don't believe at all he is done singing. :) I think Brian May said it best.......you have to see them perform Live at least once! Jeff is a very magnetic frontman with a great voice and I think alot of it is going to lie in getting enough exposure. Get them on TV! :D

I voted 2, but I think it is 50/50 between 2 & 4

#4 is already in progress. The only remedy is #6. Otherwise the other three will be applying for their SSI benefits also.

I think 3 is very likely and I wouldn't completely rule out some mainstream attention such as Arrowsmith got with I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing, with the right PR and product placement.

I think number 3 is the the most likely although I wouldn't mind Number 1. That said, the word revival makes me think i'm sitting in a ghetto church singin "go tell it on the mountain".

number 2 seems pretty real.. studio and live and tour... the band kicking butt , writing great songs and playing them like no one could imagine crazy good.. but with no record company or management backing... everything will be great except the mainstream will not know them and another fantastic record gone in a heartbeat.. who could be impressed with the "thinktank" behind the band.. i would love to know Soto's thoughts on this after almost a year,, hes the swift one in the band for sure.. i hope he makes some money and continues with the solo stuff as well... thats the best stuff anywhere!

3 is certainly what I think will happen; would love to see either 1 or 6 (6 in a few years time tho, don't worry JSS) but they are as likely as everyone on this forum winning the lottery.

Voted for #3...would love to see #1 happen, or better yet #6, but I'm not holding my breath.

Journey's future seems very safe to me. The last incarnation proved that they can survive on touring alone. That said, they now have a better singer, one that will be able to perform on talk shows, etc., and give them the advertising power they have so sorely lacked. Additionally, I think they'll produce an album this time that delivers. One that rocks a bit more and returns to the catchy choruses and bigger vocals that the last few didn't. Theye're simply volumes better than they were.

I wonder if Deen will have a couple of songs to perform on the new album?

#3 looks good if Deen shares lead vocals.

I selected #2, but I'm really afraid that it might turn out to be #4. Not due to anything Journey does wrong, but just to management and the different musical tastes that people have now. I hope I'm way off.
