Stern and AI

Looks like Stern's campaign to keep the horrible Sanjaya on is working. According to DialIdol.com, he is safe again this week. Amazing after that stupid faux-hawk and crappy song he sang last night.

Yeah, pretty dumb.

House is a good show. I've been watching it the past 4 or 5 weeks, and it has really grown on me.

Don't forget Criminal Minds tonight, Sallee! Best show on TV.

House is good. I try to see earlier episodes on the USA channel. And no, I won't forget to watch Criminal Minds. It comes on right after Jericho. :D

I missed the ending of House because I was getting my daughter into bed. She didn't want to go, and I wanted her to go. Usual stuff.

The soldier had something that would only require a few surgeries to fix. I forgot what it was.

Actually I agree with you, it hasn't lived up to it's past seasons this year. I'm trying to be optimistic that it's just a slow start.

There is not enough Jack or Chloe in this season. They are recycling old plots and it's too predictable. Then they have some random guy with an autistic brother thrown in which made no sense, oh and Milo's ridiculous kiss with Nadia at CTU.... many cringe worthy moments this season.

Yes, still a great show, but not as good as past seasons IMO, might be the new characters this year. :? No matter, I still think Keifer is one of the best actors out there!

I think they'll have to end the show fairly soon. There are only so many plots you can have revolving around terrorism which will support 24's plot gimmick.

Agreed. Next season should be 24 hours of Jack's therapy and then have him walking off into the sunset with Audrey (who I think is likely not really dead). :D

I'm pretty sure I saw Sanjaya's Sister at the courthouse filing to divorce her brother from the family, this morning.

Seriously, this BOY is a joke and anyone who votes for him is a joke. He's the SOLE reason I won't watch anymore this season. I just don't care to look at him. Everyone knows who the top 2 people are, maybe even the top 4 or 5. it pains me that people who buy tickets to the summer tour will have to hear Sanjaya live in person. He'd better get some balls fast. Heck, I bet even his sister beats him up.

FUCK, I'm sick of seeing that stupid little girl too. She was found to be a plant, but EVERYONE is using the video, and it's driving me nuts.

I agree with you 100%, but I do feel badly for Sanjaya... he's just a 17 year old kid and is being riduculed from coast to coast. I read somewhere that Simon said he'd quit the show if Sanjaya wins. This season truly just sucks. Not one person interests me. Like you said, there are a couple of good voices, but that's not really enough to keep me interested. I'm just watching to see when Chris Daughtry will show up to perform. :D

LOL, I think the only one I will watch is the May 2nd show with JBJ, and that is just to see if there is any friction between him and Simon, from what I have read in the past they aren't big fans of each other.

There really is no standout talent that just grabs you this year. The only one on there that I'm really impressed with is Melinda, but I doubt that any music she might record if she wins will interest me much. Wouldn't it be interesting if they were to bring back the past winners and other's who have been successful after the show to do some of the coaching?

Stern was pretty funny this morning discussing the people who are left. He called Melinda "creepy", Lakisha "too fat" and said Jordin is "built like a linebacker". They agree that all the men suck.

He's guest host that date and will be performing their new song from the cd that comes out in June, from what I have read. I can't remember the comment Simon made a few seasons ago, but along the same lines as the critics do about them being a hair band. I don't think Simon likes bands like Journey, Bon Jovi, etc. In an interview JBJ said he didn't watch AI, didn't like the way Simon was with some of the kids. He said if he ever listened to what people like Simon said he wouldn't be where he is today.....something to that affect.<<<<-----(Ha! Notice right usage of affect/effect.)

Drudgereport.com has a long article about a website that has a big following. It is called -vote for the worst. They are messing with any validity that the show may have had and keeping that horrible singer in the top 10 so he will get to go on tour. Simon must be fuming over this. He is still smarting at the idol that told how the show and judges comments were scripted. The show is more about ratings and revenue than music or there would be guest judges who have/had careers .How about a guest judge each week for Simon who has a conflict of interest. He has to be nasty so more peoples will watch.
