All of the boots for this show are VERY indicative that Journey made the right choice as it pertains to the lead singer change. While time will ultimately be the deciding factor, it's hard to argue at this point from what I've heard thus far. Top notch stuff.....plain and simple.

Dang! I wish they would do that song sometime when I get a chance to see them. The only thing I didn't care for was the Augeri-esque wiggling, hip shaking stuff.

Yet another reason Time3 is the grestest boxset ever. This song was unreleased until then.
Terrific performance here.

Sorry Dave, but there is nothing Augeri-esque about JSS's moves! Just Jeff getting his groove on.

Good to see that song come out again.

Looked like a little bit of a salsa move to me. Hot salsa.

ok. that is permanently in the dirty dozen now. dump open arms or fatihfully. Jeff, don't bother singing. just dance.
he was doing some nice auxillary percussion with Deen too.

Another great unreleased gem from T3 was "Liberty". Like Perry's vocals on that, sounds a little different.

YEAH! I love that song! Great vocals.
Augeri screwed that one up. I would love to hear JSS have a shot at it though.

Liberty for me is Perry's finest vocal hour.
Period.

true dat. At least close to the tops. Excelent song. The only problem I have associated with that song is that crappy I'm a surfer from Arizona movie form years ago. It was featured pretty prominently in the movie.

Oh yeah Matt, most definitely.
Happy To Give tops everything vocally. I do love me some
Liberty though.

Fyre - I can't believe you are being so discreet and self-effacing at this your moment of triumph! The MR regulars are all enthusing about salsa and so forth. How could have guessed it?

No...Something to Hide sounds like the vocals of a wimpy girl next to the righteous majesty of Happy To Give.
