Voted, I love LOVE love Stevie Nicks, but do not agree that she should be ahead in the vote over Ann Wilson, nope. Ann's voice is better than any of those gals.

I voted, but disagreed with many of the candidates in several catagories. How can Perry not be listed in the best male vocalist catagory? No Journey album artwork either.

Placed my votes. Journey got the nod wherever they were listed.

Which album did you pick for this question?

BEST CLASSIC ROCK ALBUM:

DARK SIDE OF THE MOON - PINK FLOYD
LED ZEPPELIN 2 - LED ZEPPELIN
SGT. PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND - THE BEATLES
WHO’S NEXT - THE WHO
EXILE ON MAIN STREET - THE ROLLING STONES

I had to go with Sgt. Pepper, but was hard going against Zep.

Yup, and how could they omit Eddie "Fingers" Ojeda from the Best Classic rock Guitarist category? :)

I went with Sgt Pepper too. I pretty much went with anything Beatles in any catagory that didn't have something Journey in it.

I love them and they're walking legends and all,but I'm afraid they will win the post-nuclear war Poll "Best Live Act of 2080 - Keith and The Rolling Cockroaches"

Kidding aside,Ann Wilson should win the female voice category without any doubt.Stevie Nicks is nowhere near her.

I hate the Beatles.

Rip The Human Riff ever again and me and you are having words.

As an aside, I have some Bigger Bang boots and was at the Philly show...the shows I'VE heard of this tour have not been their finest live hour. Kinda too loud and muddy. The superbowl performance was a microcosm of that.

Cyndy, I assume you were at the Beacon, how'd they sound that night?

I voted too.

I can't understand Stevie Nicks so far ahead of Ann Wilson. Love Stevie, but Ann blows her away.

I don't get that either. She's even beating out Joplin and that also makes no sense. Personally like Ann Wilson better than Joplin.

Went with Zeppelin here. Don't care for the Beatles or any of the others, really. Also, Ann Wilson's vocals kick Stevie Nicks' and Janis Joplin's druggie butts.

Another bogus poll. This is obviously a subjective poll of people's favourites. Which is fine, but it's a different question. I mean, we're having to be objective with the information with which we're provided. Most of the people voting on this poll are obviously people who would never endeavor to see Journey live, and therefore would have no idea how brilliant they are. Conversely, that same crowd will obligatorily lean towards anything "classic"; hence the choice of Stevie Nicks (who I love as a songwriter and performer) over Ann Wilson (possibly the best rock vocalist ever, Perry included). Even though Heart originated in the 70's. they had most of their success in the 80's, as did Journey, and are consequently stuck with that "corporate rock" label. Elitist 70's "classic rock" fans turn their noses at ANYTHING 80's, so their inability to be objective is the fatal flaw in this poll and how it's constructed.

I have one important question: where the hell are Rush in that poll?!?!?!
I mean, for the love of God, Neil Peart isn't listed among the best classic rock drummers?!?
