I've got PlanetUS - Vertigo if you want me to post it. It's a live version from a radio broadcast, so it should be OK to post, shouldn't it?

Perry: Friends Of Mine (can't believe it hasn't seen the light of day until now)
Neal: I'll Cover You (Those that rip Neal's pipes MAY be slightly surprised by this)
Bad English: Rocking Horse (Nasty song with dirty guitars out of Neal)
Tall Stories: Chains Of Love (Super Augeri voc, good Moorer axework)
Soul SirkUs: Highest Ground (jaw-dropping JSS voc, kick-ass crunchy guitars with the swaggering intro by Neal, *Castronovo drums version*)

Music I like:

HSAS - the whole album
Street Talk - the whole album
Bad English - first album, most of the songs
Neal solo CDs - Late Nite and Beyond the Thunder
Schon & Hammer - Both albums, although they sound pretty dated with Hammer's Casio keyboards
Perry FTLOSM - You Better Wait, Listen to your Heart, and Somewhere There's Hope
The Storm - Most of the first album

The new FTLOSM is worth it for that and Can't Stop alone.

I remembered when they were coming out the 'bat said that song rocked and right he was.

Yeah, if you can post that it would be cool.
And DAMN- I forgot about Schon and Hammer! Loved LIES- used to play that in a cover band in the 80's! :)

I saw Vital Information on Sunday and they did a song off their upcoming album that I can't get out of my head.
Steve Smith does some interesting vocals on it.

ABRAXAS POOL - The whole album. Neal sounds fantastic.

Gregg Rolie - Fire At Night, Neal, again.

Ross on VTR, NIGHT FLOWER.

Jon on his kid's PTA cd, CHRISTMAS SHOPPING BLUES.

An idea I had....there are actually some great Journey styled melodic rock artists and records out there and I am learning that many folk here are not awar eof them all.

So I will do a Feature ALbum of the Week right here, just to try and introduce some new music to folks....watch for that soon....

Andrew,

I know this is awfully vague, but you mentioned a band from New Jersey fairly recently very similar to Journey.
I think there was a link to itunes. They are amazing and I can't recall their name.

Ring any bells?

I could be wrong...I think the band's name was something weird, like "Bon Jovi", or something. Never heard of them.

I tried to get into The Storm, the songs just didn't grab me. The guitar player had chops, but couldn't emulate Neal's contributions to the songwriting, IMO. Really dug Soul Sirkus though.

Can't understand why you wouldn't like The Storm if you are a Journey fan. The debut album by The Storm is the greatest album Journey never did. It completely reaks of Journey. The songs, melodies, chorus's, harmonies are just Journey.
Dig it out again and play it.

I can't believe no one has mentioned Hardlline. Can't Find My Way is one of my favorites. Also, Schon's Softly, Rain's Comin Down and Smoke of the Revolution from Late Nite. Father from I on U really gets me as well.
