Jeff is the ONLY person on this planet/galaxy/universe that can get me to sit through a BeeGees' song: pink pants and all.

this was fun too

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AC7TgG6HdLo

everything is better with Gary. 8) even disco. (did I say that? someone slap me!)

yea, Jeff, we metalheads enjoyed this--as soon as the nausea subsided.

OK, openly confessing my ignorance here. Is that from the Boogie Nights movie that had Mark Walberg and Burt Reynolds and was that really our Jeff in those ridiculous pink pants?

Yes, I am embarrassed & proud to say it's all me, haha, spent a good 5 years (1996-2001) with those guys (sorry folks, I was banking HARD with that band, if you knew how much we made, you'd do it too!!) & that was the promo compilation they used for booking us, can't believe it took so long for it to make it on youtube!

Wait a sec...were you on the ELLEN show? I am not ashamed to admit that I really liked disco music - spent every night dancing at the disco the summer of '79, except for the night I had to go see Steve Perry/Journey (my first & last - if only I knew). I still like the songs & especially the BeeGees. :) I do miss my bell-bottoms.

Yea, if anyone watched her weekly sitcom, you'd know she had a different artist doing her theme song every week....we were playing a corporate gig at Jennifer Aniston's birthday party once & Ellen was there, loved the band & hired us to to do a disco version of her tune....very cool lady!!

Gary (did YOU vote today??) gave me a video called 'Behind the Boogie' that is a takeoff of this. I didn 't get it when I first saw it but now I get it.

a lot of that disco stuff is very funky-an excellent place for Jeff. he shines!!

it's ok, Umberto, we're with ya in every genre. but if any stuff surfaces of you doing Patsy Cline covers, I'm outta here!! hehe

Ahh, that was just a pitstop actually, it was my 'waiting period' as the Grunge scene toppled everything I worked so hard out from '84 to '94, it was a great excuse to stay busy & jump back in when the water was safe again :) It all seemed to work out fine I'd say, even before the Journey call. Rock Star came in '01 as well as many other high profile things that led to Neal tracking me down for Soul SirkUS....everything happens for a reason!

Everything does happen for a reason. It has worked out more than fine for you. Maybe you should write a book someday. Looks like it would be a great read. :D

I did watch her sitcom show years ago! We saw her do her stand-up comedy before she had a t.v. show & became a household name - very funny.

well, all that honest hard work worked out for ya! :)

Jeff,
I loved Disco and even took disco dance lessons! very cool era. I thought u said u couldn't dance? you were better than John Travolta and I thought he was super! Next time I see u, I will ask u to do some disco dancing which in my book is very sexy dancing!!!!

Is there any kind of genre u can't do???????
