Local news just broke in here reporting that the New Jersey Gov. and his State Trooper protection as well as an aid were involved in a hit and run accident. The Gov was flown to a hospital along with the trooper. The search continues for the vehicle that ran them off the road.

Here's an update for anyone who hasn't seen it. New Jersey Gov. had a broken leg, six broken ribs on each side of his chest. a broken sternum, and numerous lacerations. He is in critical but stable condition. Side Note: seatbelt laws apparently don't apply to governors as he was not wearing his.
