AR has done as much, if not more, as anyone to keep Journey's music and relevance alive. They've been labeled "corporate" for decades. Enter Deano, AR and a few others. People willing to support this band to the max. People willing to open up their homes to complete strangers and provide hospitality that would make most mothers jealous. It's because of people like Deano, Lula, Ar, Mrs. AR, DCVader, Granny and a shitload of others that Journey has a chance at relevance again. Fans willing to support the group, attend the shows and promote the music. Fuck, if not for Dean this board would be all but dead. Ed was the one who allowed people to put faces to names. He doesn't hide behind a fuckin' keyboard and lob insults. The motherfucker, like Dean, is REAL. By real I mean someone who is there, at every show he can possibly attend, unlike the faceless bitches that hurl insults and run to Drew. To sum it all up, Ed's 1 week banishment is a ridiculous, and perhaps perilous suspension. Like it or not, between him and Deano, the fate of this board IS in his/their hands. They stop posting, this board is doomed to obscurity. Because of their service to the band, past deeds, promotion and bringing together the GREATEST faction of Journey's fanbase, they should be held to a much more lenient standard. Carefully review the last 2 days of feuding and you'll notice that Ed didn't start a fuckin' thing. And quit the "sober up" bullshit too, Drew. It's ignorant. Please take the time to reconsider Ed's reinstatement, and follow that up with his immediate re-introduction, or face the fact that you may have to put your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye. Well my take on it is, there's definitely got to be a limit to how much you can let the loons make this place into BT. For Gods own sake, they posted 19 pages of cock drool. I'm glad Ed took the initiative to shut that idiotic thread down. I would never post or participate in a thread like that out of respect to my fellow posters. Some people here don't have the respect to limit their fawning and drooling and other sickening gestures of idolization. I'm sorely disappointed that Ed was put on vacation for trying to stop what should have been stopped a lot earlier. There were many other protesters, and the loons just can't take a fucking hint.

While AR may have been out of line in some of his insults it does feel a bit like AR was the one that got punished while there are others that knowingly aggravated him greatly and now stand by looking on saying "what? I didn't do anything."

He is not the only one at fault here.

I was on that thread but certainly wasn't baiting anyone. I did my share of enjoying some of the pictures but I think I spent just as much time asking AR not to post dead animal/human pics. I'm with bufordt9...I think it did get out of hand. And when it veered off into pictures of people other than JSS or Perry then it kind of lost any appeal to me. I don't post much at all but I do lurk a lot and I feel like I *know* most of the regulars here and I don't like seeing family fights.

All this crap just needs to wait until everyone cools down. Ed and 'Drew will hash it out and everything will be cool. Like I told Deano...tapegate was a HELL of a lot worse and there are still survivors.
