Got an e-mail from a friend in PA,she said the weather on the entire East Coast is absolutely terrible. :? She's safe but on alert.

I haven't followed the news during the weekend, but I tuned in this morning and saw some footage from NY and South Carolina...scary stuff.

Hope all the MelRockers from the East Coast are safe and sound.
Sending some of the Spring sun your way.

We are getting a Nor'easter - but with rain instead of snow. Towns are flooding badly and this isn't going to stop until wednesday morning. (I'm in Boston) The big marathon today is going to really be hard. They have set up busses and tents along the whole route for people to pop in and warm up if need be. I know runners and volunteers. Today is not going to be fun.

It zipped past us in Tennessee pretty quickly on Saturday, thank goodness. We didn't get anything like the northeast is getting. Hope everyone is okay!

Still freezing cold here in R.I., rain on the way, sick of winter, sick, sick, sick.

We got a couple inches of rain but no flooding. The wind is terrible though. It's blown my deck furniture all over the place. I was worried all night that it was going to blow the oak tree in the back yard over onto the house. If it was leafed out it might have.

I can't sleep either when it's real windy. Too many trees around my place. I just wait for one of them to come crashing down on my roof. :?

You didnt catch any bad weather yesterday? The weather around here was horrible... horrible for about an hour yesterday morning. We had the painter over the day before and he had all the weather stripping off the door. It was about 5X louder than normal. :P

Nope...it was just very windy. They said bad thunderstorms Saturday night, but we only got about a 15 minute downpour. LOL Nothing but sun and blue sky yesterday.

I'm in Nashville and we've had some really strange weather lately, we went from a number of days in the 80's to freezing temps for a couple of nights..all the new plantings and buds got zapped pretty bad. This past weekend we experienced some high winds and lots of rain but nothing too serious. Sending good vibes to friends less fortunate!

My power has gone out twice already today. The wind is blowing trees down onto the lines.

Just stopped raining here...we're fine, but about 1/4 mile down the road from me, people were being evacuated by boat. My brother lives in New Jersey and has 4 feet of water in his basement. Needless to say, he had to leave his home with his family. Bad stuff all around here. :?

Hope everyone else is doing ok.
