UT and A&M are getting a shirt together with the Longhorns symbol on one side and the aTm logo on the other with the VA Tech logo under it. I'll post a pic when I get it from my mom. (She works at A&M and gets these things all the time).
I forget what the charity is called...but the cash from them are going to it. Good idea I thought. :-)

That is very cool. The Bonfire collapse in '99 was so awful, but I really loved how UT supported A&M. Let me know where to get a shirt - might want to get one. :)

Well...they're out now...but the first order was sold out within an hour. The 2nd one comes out on Wed and that's for all the ones that got backordered. I'll try to snag one for ya. :-) I think on the back it's gonna say "The Orange And Maroon Support The Orange And Maroon" which is perfect in my eyes.
It's funny how you mention the Bonfire...'cause I was thinking about that earlier. I was there watching the stack being built 10 minutes before it collapsed. I didn't know any of the kids who died...but it was freaky to know that. Went and donated blood the next day up there. Completely different scene from the night before, obviously. Very sad.

Thanks, doll! I will definitely pay you back for that. Should be good for several drinks at The Lounge, right?

I guess it didn't occur to me that you might've been up there. Can't imagine what that was like.

It was a really fun the night before just hanging out with everyone, drinkin' and kinda "Tailgating" I guess you could say. The next day....you couldn't even drive by without getting chills. Sorta like going to the World Trade Center afterwards but on a MUCH smaller scale.

I was thinking that the building at VT where the majority of the shooting took place (Norris Hall) will end up being torn down or made into a memorial. I could be way off base, we'll have to see how they deal with it.
