Roll down the windows and CRANK IT UP

Postby Playitloudforme » Tue Apr 24, 2007 2:03 pm

Something Shania said stuck this in my brain... so thought I'd ask it.

What song that comes on over the radio or you have on CD in your car do you absolutely crank it up to as high as you can stand it, roll down the windows to and just let it BLAST???

Mine? Green Day's Holiday. Pretty funny too in bumper to bumper traffic on the 101 freeway...whole car is vibrating, looks like I'm having my own personal earthquake.

Anyone else?

Be Good to Yourself.

The best rock song Journey ever made, IMO.

Or of course, Summer of 69..the best rock song ever recorded.

Never on the radio, but "Wouldn't You Like To Know Me" off Paul Stanley's 1978 solo album is the one I blare the most.

Dean, Bryan Adams is playing Philly this summer. Looks like I may be in attendence.

Never on the radio but "Edge Of The Blade", Rush's "Far Cry", and Styx's "Castle Walls". :-)

Don't think you won't see me not there. I would much rather see BA than Journey. I will meet you there.

Seriously, buy an extra ticket. You pick me up in Philly, and we are there.

My favorite crank it up Journey song lately is Stone In Love. The live version from the Houston DVD is great.

I also like to blast Carry on Wayward Son by Kansas. That still gets radio play.

ohsherrie- HECK YES. My buddies and I LOVE cruising around to One More.

Journey-wise, my favorites to blast are Any Way You Want It, Stone in Love, Escape, Be Good to Yourself, Just the Same Way, Feeling That Way, Higher Place..... any of 'em, basically.

However, my all-time top cruising songs aren't all Journey!

1. Roll with the Changes
2. Hot Blooded
3. Unchained
4. Panama
5. Flirtin' with Disaster

That's a great tune. In fact, that "5150" album was my favorite for quite a long time starting in high school. Also, I always thought that trans-trem Steinberger that Eddie used on that tune was really cool.

Great songs listed here. 2 that I turn up super loud lately are from Alter Bridge, "One Day Remains" & "Down To My Last", love the whole cd but those 2 songs are great. 1 of the speakers in the back vibrates now, does that mean it's blown? lol- oops
