Holy 80's Flashback, batman!!

Poison has put together a hard-rock triple bill for the summer concert season. The band will hit the road on their Poison'd! 2007 tour beginning June 13th in Greenville, South Carolina, and the dates wrap up September 1st in West Palm Beach, Florida. The shows will feature Poison as headliners, with support coming from Ratt and opening act White Lion.

Poison will be out supporting their new covers album titled Poison'd!, which will be released June 5th.
Ratt includes vocalist Stephen Pearcy, guitarist Warren DeMartini, and bassist Bobby Blotzer. Bassist Juan Croucier was asked to rejoin his old mates, but he felt that issues which have been plaguing the group over the years reared up recently, so he backed out. The band's other original member, guitarist Robbin Crosby, died in June 2002. This year's lineup features John Corabi on guitar and Robbie Crane on bass.

Same here.

Only like 3 or 4 Ratt songs.

White Lion is fair. I liked the Mane Attraction album. Hate "When the Children Cry" though.

In other words, you won't be seeing me at this show.

Seeing Poison last summer was more then enough for me and I've always hated White Lion. Ratt with Pearcy would be the only draw for me here.

I agree with Ratt. White Lion were above most of the rest of the hair bands, in my opinion and I couldn't disagree more on "When the Children Cry". The solo in that song, as simple as it may be, has TONS of feel and is melodically brilliant, in my opinion. Vito Bratta was one of the best guitarists from the genre and the "Pride" album is one of my favorites.

As for Poison, there are two or three songs I like and the rest make me want to violently hurl.

Guys, I saw RATT with the original lineup back in the day (TWICE) and they were HIDEOUS! WAY the fuck too loud and distorted (this coming from a -at the time- 19 year old!) and Pearcy just flat out can't sing. You guys flail at folks like Eddie Vedder- shit he's Pavorotti compared to Pearcy's tone deaf ass...I do think they had some good stuff on vinyl, but live? No dice...
White Lion (whom I saw open for Frehley's comet in about a 1000 seat club) kicked ass live...I just never liked their stuff very much. But I remember leaving that show going "Who's the big nosed Italian guitar player? Boy can flat out WAIL!"

I'll be buying the new Poison. I think with Was producing who did the Stones' monster A Bigger Bang and the Poison We're An American Band cover, it has a chance to be very very good.

Not a fan of throwing the 15 and 20 year old covers of YMDD and RARAN on there, though.

They are trying to ride the coat tails of a revived Journey now.

Dean......keep the videos coming. Thats enough until we can see the real thing. Loved the "paper messages" to Reardon. Highly entertaining!

It doesnt involve long sheaths, towles wrapped around your head covering your face, and Reardon does it  heehee. At first, I thought I read pre-snake! haha

I liked Metal
even even the Bubble Gum Metal...
Cinderella had some moving ballads.
I don't listen much to the words
The melody just has to be strong enought to pick me up & carry me...
Some of them long haired pretty boys could carry a tune
