Thanks Carol!!!!

Also......................

Did you know that in a December 2006 Gallup Poll published in USA today, nurses were ranked the most ethical of all professions? Yep, 84% of those polled rated nurses as "highly ethical" our closest contenders where pharmacists at 73%.

Did you also know that nursing is considered the second "sexiest" profession by men? (we rank right behind models~go figure!)

Most ethical? Bullshit.

I would think lead vocalists are. Wait. Oh, my mistake. Carry on.

Now if nurses would dress like your avatar...little white fuck me heels, the garters, yeah. but noooooooooo, nurses today wear fuckin pajamas and Nikes. WTF?

You are probably right but they didn't have "lead vocalists" on the list of professions polled. It was a flawed survey!

You are correct, International Nurses Day is May 12 but National Nurses Day in the US is today. It kicks off nurses week which most hospitals have instead just named "hospital week" and have disregarded Nurse's Day altogether!

Oh,I get it...Too bad they disregard it,no hospital would work properly without the nurses.

The festivities here that I mentioned will focus on nurses, not on the hospitals in general...Just llike Mother's Day is about Mothers not the whole family.

Thats because men are thinking of porn or sexy young girls like your avatar dressing up as nurses---the average nurse is 47 years old and dont look like the average Nurse portrayed in these photos.

Happy Nurse's day, you are the backbone of the hospital...if only nurses had some backbone they would be paid what they are worth.

I think they have the backbone Yul, just not enough money to hold out and make the corporations that own the hospitals know they mean it. They're also not heartless enough to let the patients suffer through it.

Happy nurses day to all of you. I would name the ones I know of but wouldn't want to slight any of you that I don't. Image

Oh Yul, give us our moment.
Acutally, one of the articles that I read actually said that if men meet a woman that they are attracted to, when it comes to asking them what they do, men actually hope that the women respond that they are a nurse!

Nurses will never be paid what they are worth but I doubt that it has to do with having a backbone. Nurses have to have a very strong backbone to do what we do!

I would beg to differ Mrs RN Friend.
Though I will wish you well on this day and give my
heartfelt thanks a many to you, I believe the world recognition
is reflected upon on May 12th.

My baby Sis be a Nurse and one that is lucky enough
to out post and gain muchly in her job.
I be so very proud of her!
Nurses have held a very close spot in my heart, we have
a few in my family and I have been blessed with their kindness
and caring efforts in my life.
To you all, I take a bow.

All you Doctors and staff that be in need of their fine services, find it
in you to thank them with all the gratidude they deserve.

Happy Nurses Day!

Been in the hospital too many times, and the nurses were there for me so much more than the doctors.

Thank you all, you rock. 8)

Well that explains the huge tray of baked goods we had waiting on us at the nurse's station when I got to work this morning. Unfortunately we all hit the ground running this morning and didn't get to stop for lunch until 3:30.

I'm jealous too. I gotta wear what looks like Goober Pyle's gas station uniform. Just a small vocational error on my part.

Thats the problem Nat your going by 1 article, i can find 1 article to state anything i pretty much want it to.I agree with your physical statement of backbone but stand by my figurative statement about backbone. Have a good day.

Thanks so much, a nurse, I can say that no I don't get paid what someone in another profession with a 4 yr college degree makes. The only ones that can change that is nurse. Happy nurses day from K. Helms RN BSN.
