New Hugo cd

Read on the front page where Hugo and Storm axeman Ramos have teamed up to make a cd. Should be good. Hugo is a good singer, but a little too much on the soft side at times. Maybe Ramos can rock it up a little more. Sounds like a good idea-ERIC

Hugo can belt when he has to. Ramos is a great songwriter. This should be as good as the two Storm records.

Sure hope so. Hugo last cd was good, but not as good as his first. And his second was "ok" at best-ERIC

I'm glad this news is finally out, it's been in development for some time. The album is a good mix of up tempo rockers and ballads and will appease fans across the board. Josh is in rare form on this one. It was after writing this record together that I invited him to join China Blue. More to follow, Eric

I imagine I would enjoy this CD but can't help but think it will be a Journey/Storm rip-off. With Joureny working on new material and Kevin Chalfant doing the Journey tribute CD it seems a little crowded in this little section of the AOR world. BUT, at least it is original music, and a good voice NOT singing Journey. I guess it is sort like a combination of Journey and Kevin.

Josh will always be a poor mans Neal Schon and was never much of a songwriter, but it would be interesting to see what they come up with as Hugo is always a joy to hear in the absence of Mr.Perry. :)

Good idea indeed. As much as I enjoy Hugo doing the Journey tribute,I'd better have something original from him.
He has a good voice and some original material will put his vocal skills in a better light than the tribute job does.

I'm eager to hear this.
