Schilling's a grandstanding buffoon.

I said the day after it happened it was ketchup on that sock.

BUT, the Bonds bashing is NOT out of line.

His teammates at Arizona State voted to kick his ass of the team in college, the coach kept him.

The Bonds thing is pretty amazing really...to hit that many homers is quite an accomplishment. Even though he took some substances...it was not illlegal to do so... and during the 90s after the strike, no one challenged it, the sports press went like mad for Bonds, McGuire and Sosa to hit the homers every time up and they know it, but that same group now want to crusify all of em, especially Bonds!!

Three things in baseball that are hard... Pitching a fastball over 100MPH, hitting the 100MPH fastball pitch and then to have the ball go over the fence over 750 times in a career! With batting under .300!! We should give Bonds a standing O when he breaks the record, but the press wont allow it, sorry state of affairs!

Bonds admitted he used 'roids but he denied doing it knowingly.

Put him in the slammer.

what good does that do??? He plays baseball, let him do community service, like giving a 4,000.000 or so to baseball's charities... that would speak more than just throwing Bonds in the slammer...
also treat him like Rose and not elect him to the hall.

What? He is an admitted cheater. Ruth ate hot dogs. Bonds took 'roids. Experts generally agree that power numbers can be "pumped up" by as much as 20% by players on 'roids (and 5% for batting average, which is actually a lot). Therefore, Cheater Bonds should have 585 home runs. It's a travesty, and he is a criminal. NO ONE should applaud him when he breaks the record.

Rick, it's a major drug offense. People who do that go to the clink.

Bonds would have been a first ballot HOFer if he had never done steroids, now he could break Aaron's records and never get in. He'd have as good a chance getting in if he had retired ten years ago. Was breaking federal laws but not baseball's rules...how scewed up is that...owners, gm's, managers, and even (BS)Selig had to know what was going on, had no problem with it. Selig should be required to be there when he breaks the record.

Bonds is a piece of scum-fucking-fish-smelling shit. No, he's lower than that.
he's a cheater and a douchebag wrapped into a one.

If Shoeless Joe Jackson can't be reinstated into baseball, even though it's largely believed that all he did wrong was be guilty by association....then Bond's should be thrown out on his ass and all his records wiped from the books.

Baseball's inability to deal with the steroid issue has given rise to cheating fuckholes like Barry Bonds......Barry AND Selig need to be removed from baseball without a chance of return.

Fuckers...all of them....

Fuck Barry!
Fuck Selig!
Fuck em all!

Damn right. Bud made that bed w/ Bonds, he should be there to spoon with Barry in it when it happens.

Yep, and I hope it happens on the road, not in SF.----not that I hope it happens.

Bonds should have (perhaps)salvaged some respect and retired last year/year before(?) instead of coming back from that layoff with the knee problem.

It's not going to be a BIG thing when the record falls. WHY? Well, I think we all know why. Hell, Hank Arron has already said he won't be there when it happens.

McGwire may not ever admit it, and frankly his "testimony" 2+ years ago, is what is keeping him out of the HOF, more than suspicion alone.

I was there at the games when he hit many of his homers in 1998, from the beginning of the season, there for 61, 62 and the on to the end of the season, for his last four to bring it to 70. He's a legend in this town for the shows he put on for the team and the fans. NOT for his alleged abuse of "then legal substances". Do I personally think he took something in the steroid area to be able to pump out 70 homers in a season? Sure I do. He was smart enough to get out when he did. Heck, he'd agreed to a contract extension verbally, but instead decided to retire.

Bonds has very little patience with fans, the media etc. He's NOT a personable person, in fact he's down right miserable to be around, by many peoples' accounts. He's also an admitted cheater, though in a roundabout way. Rafael Palmiero, who I respected as a player for many years, fucked up too. He's just not willing to admit that he took steroids on his own, instead blaming other people. I have NO respect for him anymore. He WAS a HOF'er until that happened.

I could go on and on about Baseball, but...

i know the answer to this question. people are too wrapped up in themselves to give a crap about anyone else.

next asshole who runs a red light & nearly runs my ass over is going to get my boat horn shoved so far up their butthole. actually... i'll just blow it & hopefully make them crash & die. grr! i'm in a bad mood.

the last voice i would have heard was jss' tho. };C)

why don't people use their horns??? this jackass turned right infront of a car (nearly hits me too... fucker!)... why didn't they honk? i'm so pissed... what if i had a samll child walking with me? people need to think when they drive... slow down & look around... you're not the only fucktard on the road.

damn... i didn't even flip them off... what the hell is wrong with me! heh.

awe... i feel better! thanks for letting me vent! }=C)

Bonds needs his batting helmet spun around by a 98 MPH heater.

what good would that do? He's gonna die at a premature age, like many steroids users. A concussion will only make him more aloof to his surroundings (the great sport of baseball).
