OT: mp3s "Open Arms" and others

Postby Musician95616 » Thu May 17, 2007 4:36 pm

I thought some of you might be intrigued to hear some music I've worked on. In particular interest might be a take on "Open Arms" (dare we try it). I recorded these versions with vocalists at the high school I teach at. Although I teach History, I have the opportunity to do two music productions each year. These songs are from our most recent show. While I was apprehensive about putting "Open Arms" in there (to me, no one can do Steve Perry), I was pleasantly surprised at how nice our version came out. I recorded all the instruments in my studio and the brought the singers in to add their vocal tracks.

If you are curious, give it a listen and see what you think. Thanks, Chris

Nice! However, the vocals are so different, they change the original feel of OA...But whoever sang it has a good voice all in all.

Another candidate for the MR CD.
