Can't say I enjoyed Rambo III as much as the first 2,but I'm really intrigued by this new one.
I see it's more violent, but I'm hoping for that John Rambo special little speech...LOL

Badass. 8)

With this much footage in the can, they've got to be finished or at least CLOSE to finished shooting.

That being the case, why not November for the release? Might be a good idea to avoid going up against Indy 4 next May.

BTW, gonna have do some editing to get some of those scenes down to the safe PG13 ratings the studios always shoot for nowadays.

Well,IMDb says the status is "filming",but if the trailer's done,it must be just a matter of post-production and promotion.

Release date is set for May 25,2008,according to them...IMDb

I'm curious about the soundtrack...I loved that song from the first part,It's A Long Road...It was cheesy but great for the movie.
"Winds of Freedom" sounds good, too bad Virginia took it!LOL

Change it to what? Something, cooler, something tougher like perry on a motortrike?

I heard Paris Hilton stayed up longer on the chopper that one time on the red carpet than he ever did on a bike.

Graphic enough that I'll pass. Sly's a great actor, I just don't like those "shoot 'em up/let's see how many people we can decapitate" movies. :? I nearly lost my stomach watching "Saving Private Ryan" when it came out, so that's it for me. LOL

I'll be there FRIDAY when it hits, no doubt! Been waiting for this for years, and hope they retain everything that the original tralier had. It looked much more raw overall, but from the recent trailers and footage, it does appear they have added a little more polish. Just hoping it KICKS MAJOR A!!! :P

For this one, Stallone contacted SOLDIER OF FORTUNE magazine and asked them in which part of the world the greatest human atrocities were being committed, but that wasn't receiving a lot of publicity, and they said hands down, it was Burma -- so that's where this is set. :P

The basic premise is that Rambo has been living nearby for a long time now, and has lost any believe in God, but agrees to escort a band of Christian missionaries into Burma. When they are captured, he goes to rescue them, and Stallone's early take on the story was that there perseverance and influence causes him to rethink his own beliefs. Notice in that early trailer, they show him appear to be praying along with the minister.

He's doing a daily Q&A on AintItCool.com and he claims the violence in the 1st legendary trailer is ALL intact.

Not sure I believe that, but it DID get the R-rating it needed to have the balls that Live Free Or Die Hard lacked.

Also said his weight training regime brought him up to a cranked 215 for this outing...

Stallone is very tight w/AintItCool.com, and really works with them when he has a movie coming out. He did a huge Q&A for "Rocky Balboa" as well.

He was taking HGH while filming "RAMBO" to get that massive, and got busted for it... I believe the story was he tossed it out the window when they entered his hotel room... :P

I have the 3 DVD box set.

My favorite series of films from over the years are
Rocky
Rambo
James Bond
Lethal Weapon
Die Hard
Karate Kid
Major League

I like the first 2 First Blood/Rambo fims better than the third one, but I still thought it was pretty good.
