Hey all....
Hiding out the the COOL rehearsal space right now....DANG it's
HOT today!!
Anyhoo.....yeah, this was probably covered, but who has music tattoos out there? Not just Journey symbols; anything:
Guitar
Music notes
etc....
I myself don't have any....but, Mark and I have matching
"Lord of the Rings" - size Wedding Bands, with this time-signature hand-etched on 4 points around the ring:
Closest I'll ever get.....
big chicken....
SO....
Anyone? Bueller?

I have a few small ones, but only two that have to do with music.
One is "Ace" (Ace Frehley) along with the ace of hearts, from the inside sleeve of his Trouble Walkin' CD and a bar of music notes with a rose going up through the middle on my right shoulder blade.

Awww...don't be chickenshit anyone. They don't hurt. Besides, they're kinda sexy, as long as your body isn't covered in them!

Seriously!! Mine didn't hurt at all. Maybe I have a high pain tolerance.

My son got his, and he said it hurt, but not for days on end. Course he went and did across his back, not a small one at all. I figure keep it simple, something on the shoulder, a scarab perhaps.

The only one of mine that hurt was my Celtic Cross...scraping over my shoulder blade. EESH.

My brother got one that went all the way around his bicep, he said it was ok until they got on the underside. He said he nearly climbed out of the chair a couple of times.

No ink on this skin.
I'm chickenshit and have no problem admitting it.

I wouldn't mind getting a small winged scarab on my arm or something.
Like the one at the link below.

This is my one and only tat for now... Am considering a second one (will probably be sooner rather than later). Anyway, it is Journey-inspired. It symbolizes the many "Journey Journeys" my sister and I have taken around Texas (hence the yellow rose). She has one to match. As for the pain, even though I'm a wuss, I handled it better than her. Teehee!

Maybe. Like you, I'm kinda chicken. Not because of the pain, but because of the finality of it. You can't rub it off. And if the guy does a bad job, you're stuck with it.

I hear ya, kind of scary when you look at it that way.
It IS an awfully nice one you picked out, though.

No, but Billy was going to have a tattoo artist at the Roxy next month... I'm sorely tempted. Sigh... what to do what to do.

Very cool...thanks. Now let's see if I can get the huevos to pull it off next month. Knowing Billy, he only uses the best, which are the guys from Shamrock, located right across the street from the Key Club. .... Damn... As long as they stay away from the spine area I should be good.

Let me know what you decide to do. If you do it, I want pics!
