The Reo concert I go to first week June, do you think they'll play a tribute to him :?: Due to the fact they should have toured with them. They should do, shouldn't they?

I think Boston should get Fran and Anthony Cosmo back and tour anyway, and dedicate it to Delp.

It's a shame for the surviving band members, they're kinda left in limbo aren't they :?: That's a good suggestion 8)

Hitch a Ride. One of my all time favorite Boston tunes. Rest in Peace Brad.

Scholz should make amends with Barry Goodreau as well...but I know that'll be a cold day in hell unfortunately.... :(

I agree. I don't know what his deal is, but he seems to have a penchant for alienating people. Must be a control freak.

Well then its a cold day. they have recently (before brads death) buried the hatchet. no one ever thought it would happen , but it did.

I knew some idiot would have to come in here and ruin what was supposed to be a tribute to what he did during his life. I understand being angry about it but this wasn't the place. Thanks a pantload.

Go fuck yourself. I am Catholic and suicide is a free ticket to hell. Do I believe that? Not really but......

Unless you are in unbelievable physical pain though there is NO EXCUSE for killing yourself!

Boston is my wife's favorite band and they are high on my list too.

I posted words. I did not suck in smoke and leave my family behind. I was devastated when I heard Brad died. Now, I am pissed.

I loved their music. My online friend knew Brad. I hate posting this, but right now when I hear a Boston song I get sad and angry as hell. The night it happened I had to break it to Lori. We played their entire catalog all night. I figured it was a heart attack or something. When I found out what happened, I was still sad. Now that I have digested it I am angry. I hope some day I can listen to those awesome albums again without thinking about how it ended.

I am classy, I am not leaving my family unless I go unwillingly.

It isn't what you posted but where you posted it. You didn't need to crap all over this thread when you could've easily started a separate one. That's not classy.

I apparently need to switch my religion and become Catholic. Then I can still be classy by telling someone to go fuck themself.

I must have imagined that part of the Bible where it says we are not to judge others. My bad...

AR,

Listen! I'm not bothered either way by what you've posted here, I laughed a little at the barbecue, but this scares me dude. A singer leaves the shores and you stay up all night playing his entire back catalogue :? Does the death of a performer require such extreme behaviour?

I call it as I see it. Hate me all you want. I first heard "More Than A Feeling" out of an 8 track in 1976 and was/am a huge fan.

conversationpc, I know your deal. Be consistent, because you are not right now.

No I found out after work at 5:30 and my wife and I sang along and played the tunes until maybe 10:00pm or so on a Friday.

Your oversized Boston avatar does not make you a bigger fan of Boston than me.

You don't know any deal but your own. I've never claimed to be 100% consistent. No one is. If I was, my name would be Jesus and I wouldn't give a flying rip about this place.

When you only do one album every eight years, that doesn't leave much material.

That 1st album may be the best debut of all time. 2nd one was excellent. 3rd stage didn't rock enough (see TBF).

The one with Cosmo was OK. The last one has 3 really good songs, but it was Sholtz going too liberal.

I like the debut slightly better than "Third Stage". I actually think it's more consistent than the debut.

Anyway, I always thought TS rocked pretty well..."We're Ready", "The Launch", "Cool the Engines", "I Think I Like It"...All great rock tunes. Even the ones that aren't straight ahead rock are pretty good power ballads.
