In a report from the associated press:

Legendary 80's singer Steve Perry was sighted today, sort of. It seems that the reclusive ex Journey frontman's image was seen in a bowl of vegetable soup by a longtime fan in Alabama. "I was just sitting there slurping my soup and spelling words with the little pasta letters and all of the sudden there he was" says Heywood Jablowme.
Another such sighting places Perry on a plate of waffles and sausages in a Waffle House restaurant in Beaufort, South Carolina.

Apparently these are not the first such sightings of Perry. Just last year his likeness was spotted in Abu Dhabi in a young man's skid marked underwear.

So if these sightings are any kind of indication, it appears as though the eclectic singer songwriter will remain in the minds of the public for years to come.

I just saw Perry in my coffee. I poured in a Splenda packet and the powder immediately took the shape of his profile.
In a related incident, the powdered sugar atop my doughnut looked suspiciously like Neal's afro, circa Departure.
If I see a keytar on my grilled cheese, I'm calling it a day.

And Elvis was sighted at a Burger King in Duluth....

My alphabet soup spelled his name out right in my bowl. I wonder if I could sell it on ebay. That was a good one. You had me going.
