**UPDATE 1507 EST* | Frontiers Drummer Mike's Family Tragedy

PostPosted: Wed Jun 06, 2007 9:43 pm
by Jeremey
Cut and paste job from the Frontiers site - Will post more info as it becomes available:

"We regret to announce that tragedy has struck the Frontiers family, as last night Mike's stepdaughter Chelsea succumbed to injuries sustained in a tragic car accident over Memorial Day weekend. Chelsea was a beloved and generous young woman, who will touch many lives with her passing through her decision to be an organ donor. Our thoughts, prayers, and concerns are with Mike and Allison and their families as they endure this difficult time. We have cancelled this weekend's performance in Atlanta, and we will be rescheduling next week's show at Awful Arthurs in Roanoke for later in the summer. Details regarding Chelsea's arrangements will be posted as they become available. Please lift up the Morrison and Keenon family in prayers, as well as the families of the other victims of the accident."

Aw jeez....this is so frustrating to hear. My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Chelsea. Please pass that on Jeremy.

Perhaps this thread could act as a condolence and rememberance book for those that know the Frontiers guys and Mike especially.

RIP

I'm relatively new to this forum, but still I offer my deepest condolences. :(

No one leaves you
When you live in their heart and mind
And no one dies
They just move to the other side
When we're gone
Watch the world simply carry on
We live on laughing and in no pain
We'll stay and be happy
With those who have loved us today

I'm so very sorry. Those seem like such puny words in the face of such a devastating loss, but they're the only ones I have. My deepest, and most heartfelt sympathies to all involved. Especially to Mike and Allison.
