Visiting I guess...

END OF THE YEAR SPECIAL!

In November, I recorded a trio project-and I’m VERY excited and proud of what we did. My friend JEFF COFFIN (Bela Fleck & the Flecktones) played various woodwinds, and our talented pal VINNIE COLAIUTA played drums, on what I consider a really special trio experiment-that seemed like a big success!! My sincere gratitude and appreciation goes to the two generous fellas. Jeff & Vinnie couldn’t have been more gracious and giving with their musical and creative gifts-not to mention their time. AND-our good friend and legendary engineer NIKO BOLAS recorded the project, and we’ll be mixing at the end of January. What a great cast! Steve Perry of Journey came and hung out on day 2 of recording, which brought a great energy to the room. "Don’t stop believin’" indeed!!

and the sequel...LOL

GOOD NEWS! I was in the studio with Niko Bolas a few weeks ago for a couple days, and we’re finished with mixing the new project with Vinnie Colaiuta and Jeff Coffin. I’m super pumped about it. More details to come… but thanks to Greg Ladanyi for letting us use his studio, and to Vladimir Johnson for assisting.
And to S.P. for the nonfat chais.

See that one,Nora?May be good for the voice. Chais = black tea, honey and milk.
