NO NEED TO WORRY!!!

First of I would love to give my full support to our hero, friend and brother Jeff Scott Soto.
After todays huge turn of events, once things calm down, everyone should try to take a moment and think about every aspect of the story and also how all this is affecting Jeff, Journey and us as fans!
Here are my thoughts
Sure the Journey guys USED Jeff to get through and come as hereos, but Jeff gained much more fans during the past 10 months than Journey did during the past 10 years. Jeff 1 - Journey 0
It's good that at an "early stage" like this Jeff found out what backstabbers he was dealing with. I think it wouldve been much harder on him to go through what Perry and Augeri went through. A band is like a family pet,,, it grows on you and no matter what circumstances , you will feel greater pain ,the longer you have been involved in a band. Jeff 2- Journey 0
Jeff is young. He has a bright future ahead of him, with fans ALL OVER THE WORLD Jeff 3 - Journey 0
Shall I go on!?
OK,,, WHY in the name of all that holy and pure would Journey want to replace Jeff.
Its VERY SIMPLE. Jeff wanted to CREATE NEW MUSIC. Neal & Co. wanted to still make some dough from old stuff. Why!? because they can!(or at least they think they can). They BARELY had the motivation to play live before Jeff joined in, let alone WRITTING NEW MATERIAL!
What they want is to be a tribute band to themselves. Solution: Jeremey.
Sure , Jeremey is a great guy and a great singer. But why would he accept such duty , knowing what happens to Journey singers!?
Another simple question with a very simple answer. He knows that he has a perfect job, because he doesnt want to write new material, he just wants to sing what Neal wants him to sing: classics,,,dirty dozens. So as long as he keeps his mouth shut and follows the orders, he is a perfect fit for this band.
But how will this all affect Journey's future? How many of you will truely shell out more money just to see them perform oldies, knowing that this is the end, but theyre keeping the Journey in Coma, alive through a machines built on old songs!?
I know most of you agree with me when I say that Jeff is way too good for Journey. Not just Musically, but as a person! we all know what a class act he is and he has made all of us his friends. Would you really want to see him with such losers!? I wouldnt!
No matter what project(s) Jeff will get involved with the next 10 years I know all of you will follow it!! Yes, Even YOU NEAL. You had your chance to have the best front man in the world and you blew it. Go ask Yngwie how much HE regrets it. And the rest of Journey, good luck, you really gonna need it!!!
Jeff,, Keep your chin up, cause today it wasnt your loss, it was totally Journey's loss. Sure it was all of our loss to miss out on an upcoming cd with Journey. But we all know that YOU will make NEW MUSIC and keep your fans happy just the way only YOU know how to keep them as faithful as they can be.
You have created your own very special fan base which will follow you through ups and downs of this business.
See you in SOUTH BEND !!!

U said it all Behshad. I really hope Jeff reads & absorbs this. He gained so many friends, supporters & most of all utmost respect for what he did & who he is. Maybe he didnt get the record deal he wanted w/Journey. But it would have been a deal w/washed up backstabbing losers & what fun is in that. Instead he can get his own deal. & maybe like u said, Marcel has more great music in him yet & Talisman can come to the US & get the support they need. The future will be bright. I know it. I believe it.
Go Jeff! We support u 100000%.

My money is going to gain plenty of interest in the bank, not being used to support the boys.
I'll give you the point about them bringing Jeff to my attention more than before, but that's the only good thing the boys have done for me in the last few years.
They continue to try to fuck over the ones that make their house and car and motorcycle payments for them. Thanks boys for thinking your fans (here at MR)aren't smart enough to think for themselves.

Well said and probably 100000% correct.......
Heads up Jeff, you WON on this one. Journey can NOT afford another lead singer change. They are history.
Love ya Bro!!!!

I forgot to add this for Neal&Co:
Take a look around at this board and see how many fans youre losing by the minute. I know, its very chicken shit you had to turn off your official forum just to hide behind your shame. What a way to fuck up a bands name and reputation in just a day.... I wonder if you will get any sleep tonite, wondering what huge misstakes you made to lose so many fans, just when you needed them the most. Bravo!

I haven't began to to fuck with Schon and Friga. They will be fucked beyond belief. It's going to take some hush money boys, and a lot of it, to silence me.

It's absolutely sickening how your favorite bands can be sometimes.
It feels like Schon whacked me in the nads with his Gibson and I just got ass-fucked with a keytar.

I will haunt their dreams. I will follow these fuckers and destroy them. They deserve to be on the National Enquirer.
The Blog will raise it's ugly head. You can be assured it will be ugly.

I think theyre lurkin around here,,,,, After all, Jeff taught them how to check out their emails and shit,,,,, its like stone age meets 21st century.....
Its sad when a band has to close their own forum and come here to see how their fans(?) react to their new lies.....

Jeremey has written his own material over the years.
And it seemed to me that Neal was pretty psyched about writing when Jeff first joined.
While I doubt the guys are nearly as motivated as Soto, I don't think this entire collapse is due to creative laziness.

Well if the band members aren't lurking around here then I don't imagine for a second that their management and/or PR people aren't...

Ok,,, look at it this way.....
When Jeff joined them last July,,,,they had no plans nr motivation to wrte new material. Once they got hit by the Soto-lightning, they all go excited about new album. by the time the tour was over,,they were tired and worn out. AND they seen the big pile of money they made from the tour ,money that they made again with the old songs. So they figured why the fuck should we worry about new stuff that may or may not be as good as what we already got?? why kill the old cow,if we can still milk it?? we just need someone that would settle for singig or old stuff,, and this jeff dude and his energy aint our anwer.....

What's puzzling is they take their best shot of moving forward with JSS and throw it out the window. Next to Perry coming back (which is not likely at all) they could have tried to move on with JSS.
They seemed to have lost touch with reality and their fans. They were fighting an uphill battle from the beginning. Now after Perry, then Augeri, and now JSS what can be left? They keep moving further and further away from their base to what? Making a laughing stock of the name. Who would take them seriously now. Thank God Perry was the smart one marketing his era of Journey. At least we can look on that with pride.

Excellent points B, but if that is the truth, he at least deserved the respect to be told to his face by the band. The way they did it was the most despicable, cowardly, underhanded bullshit way I've ever seen. Jeff saved their collective asses last year and they bend him over this way as payback. I know he will get over it, I just hope he has a long memory.

I agree with you B! Very factual post! Very good indeed! I started to post something similar to that earlier, you beat me to it! It sucks the way things have come about for Jeff, but this can only help further his career more and to further flush Journey's good name down the drain.
