No disrespect to Jeff, but I said striaght out that as soon as they had been together for a little bit, and Jeff had not turned out any hits, that he would be the next in the unemployment line.

You fuckers got your laughs when Augeri was booted, and I hope you had your fill, because now it is mine and other Augeri fans to laugh at you. I don't know what Journey will do next, however I do have my theories.

I would like to add that, as much as Soto did not suit MY taste's, I do not think he was given a fair chance. But that is my opinion, and as much as posters like Rockin' Deano, and Moon Beam among others, would have you believe, my opinion, and everyone elses, count for something! So for all those that said we were stupid for loving Augeri, and telling us that we were living in a dream world when we hoped and prayed for his return, I hope you eat those words right now. At least Augeri has Arrival, Generations, and Red 13 to show for himself. Soto got fucked out of that whole shebang now didn't he. Not saying its right that it happened to him, but I'm glad it happened to you fuckers.

Look, I've had no particular bent for any Journey singer - Perry, Fleischman, Rolie, Augeri, Chalfant (yes, the 2 minutes he was in the band), Augeri, or JSS. All did their job.

The big difference between JSS and Augeri in this case is that Augeri was singing to a prerecorded track and got caught. He did have a good run and didn't lip the whole time. JSS saved Journey, and clearly whatever went down happened since the VA gig. One thing that it seems JSS has that Augeri didn't was a set of stones.

By all accounts, audiences loved Journey with JSS. They got good reviews and that tour with DL got them exposure. They were in Europe recently and successful. Most fans embraced him in a way that they did not embrace Augeri.

My guess is that this all boils down to new material and a fundamental disagreement with Schon. Schon brought him in, he'll take him out.
