You guys are truly unbelievable! Aren't you the same people who just a year ago were telling anyone who expressed dissatisfaction about tapegate to be patient and give the new singer a chance to prove himself??? And didn't you also tell anyone who said they were no longer a fan of Journey to leave the forum and find somewhere else to post??? I belive the phrase I read most often was "If you are no longer a fan of Journey then why are you posting on a Journey Message Board." It just seems strange to me that what everyone was so pious about last year is now bullshit.

Oh well, I guess I will do the same thing I did when JSS came on board.....

I think there's a difference here.

There's only so many times you can play the lead singer shuffle before you lose some people. Augeri's lipping aside, JSS gave the band some life support. Anything beyond Perry (who is NOT coming back) would be a joke at this point. When do you finally call bullshit as a fan?

I see where you're coming from, and I don't dislike Journey, but their treatment of Jeff in this situation seems, for lack of a better phrase, downright shitty. They took his pics and bio off of their site before even making any announcement, and their timing of this whole thing coinciding with the Sopranos episode really stinks. There are ways of doing things with dignity, and there is this way of doing things. I'm angry with the whole lot of them right now. It'll be good to hear Jeff's side of this. They finally get a singer who brought so much promise to that band and now this. Way to go, Journey.

I was one of those people that was told to jump. However, even though I never accepted JSS, wrong is wrong. The poor kid got a raw deal.

It's all out of frustration, if they didn't love the band, I guess they wouldn't be calling them cocksuckers right now. The dissapointed is going through the roof, and people don't know how to control themselves. Us Journey fans really got played for the past year or so. It's kind of like we were all virgins waiting to get down for the first time, only to look around the corner and be rapped by a gorilla.

I'm pissed of the way they handled EVERYTHING the past year. The Augeri fiasco, down to the JSS meltdown. But I'm OVERLY pissed that I probably won't be seeing an album from my favorite band of all time, and the new direction going down the shitter. People have a right to be pissed the fuck off. This whole year was a waste...pure waste.

Just because I don't spend my time posting incessantly, doesn't mean I haven't been around to see all the bs around here. And just for the record, I wasn't a poster on BT either.

Speaking for myself, it wasn't the band axing SA that upset me so much as it was their fans and the band casting singular blame for what was in fact a group decision. No one lip syncs, particularly in a band, without someone else knowing it.
