Break out the vinegar and water- Journey have done it again!
Jeff Scott Soto's stint with Journey was so brief you'd think he was married to Neal (a tip for Journey's next singer: Pre-Nup!)
Now I was done with Journey after they treated Steve Augeri like a diaper, but evidently history repeats itself! I thought that Soto breathed new life into the band? I thought he was the future? I thought that he would make all of Neal's dreams come true (except that one about being voted Coolest at 'Take Your Husband to School Day'- then he'd be a shoe-in for Prom King!)
I must say, I feel bad for Jeff Soto...no, wait- scratch that- he should have known better. He knew what he was walking into- the abusive marriage that is singing for Journey. I can almost hear it...
"Say Jeff, what happened to your head?!"
"Um, I fell down the stairs."
"What?"
"I fell down the stairs and hit my head."
"Neal? Is that true?"
"Yeah, that's right! Jeff fell down and hit his head!"
"But what about that guitar pick lodged in his left eye?"
"He must have fallen onto it, right Jeff?"
"Yes Neal, I must have fallen onto it- OH GOD SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!"
"SHUT UP BITCH, AND JUST SING! DON'T MAKE ME GET MY BELT!!!"
Well, what can you do. I see Journey's future, and I have one question- will they be going on before the Puppet Show or after Spinal Tap when they play the Mayberry County Fair?

Because I'm right!
Hey, it happens sometimes...

Hey Salmacis, you're avatar probably looked like all of us last night as soon as this all leaked out haha.
But you're right, the way they handle anyone and everyone associated in the band, it's all a bunch of bullshit that us fans will never know the truth, and why.

"Journey: Behind the Message Board" from a few years back....oh MY how History DOES repeat.....

Or maybe he was just living a dream like the guy before him & the guy after him.
Gloat away dude. Have fun.

I noticed that.
I just wish Salmasis's post didn't make so much sense.
Yeah, Jeff should have known better, but Neal was his
friend
and it was Jeff's dream.
I'm seriously worried about the heir apparent.

I can just now see Neal complaining that the tiny bread isn't big enough for the meat. "I need bigger bread and, while you're at it, make sure all my amps go to 11!"

I admit it- I stole your old avatar!!
But how could I not- it's priceless! Especially considering the recent news.
Someone said I was gloating- and maybe I am a bit. Yes, both Steves and JSS got to live their dreams, but what a shame that, in this particular band, the price seems to be so unfair- and thoughtless.
