I see a lot of people saying that the new vocalist should either be him or Hugo, I've heard of Hugo, what's this Jeremy's story? By the way them dumping JSS was the MOST stupid thing I think they've done in awhile

Nice to see they're getting a Perry sound a-like to carry on The Dirty Dozen they play. I'm guessing Cain was the reason they fired JSS? I got the idea that Soul SirkUS didn't get off the ground because he told Neal that no one cared and seemed to not care much for JSS then, and also in the interviews I read with Cain he seemed a little harsh with JSS.

He is a very good singer and a cool dude....... I just feel bad for him, cause of the way Neal and Jon already started using him before his first show,,,,,,, Mark my words, HE IS THE NEW SINGER,,,,,,,,neal never gets rid of a singer without a replacement lined up.

I'm telling ya, I've had the privilage to see Jeremey's Journey Tribute band a few times, and they have never disappointed me in the least. What separates Jeremey from the other "tribute" singers is the fact that his voice is a lot stronger than those of Hugo's and maybe even Chalfant's as well. Even though I think Hugo is an excellent talent, his biggest appeal is looking just like Steve Perry. However, out of the three singers I have mentioned, if one of them were to front Journey, I'd definitely pick Jeremey first, Kevin second. I'm not saying that because Jeremey posts on this site, but it's more out of seeing him live performing Journey songs.

However, overall, I don't like this situation with the band. I didn't like the situation with Augeri either, but at least there was a reason to bench him (blowing out his voice.) The whole situation could've been handled a lot better than it was, at least, that's me - a fan - saying this. I don't know what has been going on behind the scenes, and the sad thing is, apparently, Jeff didn't either.

Jeremey is a wonderful person and a fabulous singer.

If Neal and Jon had half the integrity that Jeremey does they would never have screwed Jeff over the way they have. They didn't deserve Jeff and they don't deserve Jeremey.

Thanks for the info, I hope Jeremy can bring it, but I highly doubt I'll be attending a Journey concert anytime soon unless I get free tickets.

I think he's a good singer, but there is a reason he is fronting a cover band..No dissing you dude! The stigma for journey will be stuck with them forever if they do this.

Not that I personally need any validation of Jeremey's talent, but it should also be noted that Jeff was a big fan.

The stigma for journey will be stuck with them forever if they do this.

I heard Howard Stern erroneously say Perry was replaced by a tribute band singer and that was YEARS ago - and he is not alone in thinking that.

Well, I checked out Jeremy's site and I have to say, the boy can sing!!! Excellent! Sure, I'm pissed at NS and JC, and Lord knows Jeff got piped, but if Jeremy does get the gig, he's one helluva singer and is worthy. The Boys aren't going to listen to us anyway, so if Steve P. isn't coming back, and apparently he isn't, then let's try to be supportive of Jeremy, even if we can't be fully supportive of the band right now.

Yeah, well.. nothing personal against Jeremy. He's a great guy. However, the message I get is Journey is going to remain static. Ie; there will no be no moving forward in the future. It will be a classic Journey road show from here on out for sure.
