To all former Journey fans (whether u loved Perry, Augeri or Soto), if ur now disgusted w/what Journey has done to ur favorite guy (10 yrs ago, last yr, or this yr) let's unite. Fighting, spreading rumors about any of these guys only serves Journey's purposes.

I know many Augeri fans were hurt last yr. The Augeri family were hurt. For that, I publicly apologize to Steve himself & to his fans. Please accept it. Mr. Perry has been hurt w/things said about him. Let's not hurt the Soto family now please. We would only be stooping down to the level of the remaining members of Journey. We have not heard the story these men have to tell. But we can all assume a lot of bad things said were untrue anyway.

Whatever Mr. Augeri does in the future (& I know his voice is GREAT now), I will support him & buy. If he tours, I will go.
Whatever Mr. Soto does in the future, I will support him & buy. If he tours w/any band, I will go.
Should Mr. Perry decide to do anything, I will support him. I always have. I will also make his tour, if he ever has one.

These 3 men are the voices of Journey & they have all given us a LOT. They have all served us well w/evenings of pure live pleasure, albums we listen to all the time (in or out of Journey), they have done their time in this band for the good of the fans (us), & they have all been fucked over by other members of the band. Journey is now dead to me. But these men live on. (Personally, I'd love to see them all on one stage. That is my dream! Call me crazy if u want.)

By uniting the fanbase of these 3 men, we will do more than any fights or character assaults could ever do (of these fine men, or other fans). We have all been screwed by this band as have these 3 GREAT men.

I salute these men for all they did & I wish them all the very best life can give them. Please let us unite behind them. Fuck Journey.

Sorry - I can't suddenly get behind Augeri just because JSS has been fucked over. I was never a fan and I don't think he's a victim either...

As for Schon and Cain....yes, they have lousy personalities but we knew that years ago. They are still incredible musicians and the events of this week haven't changed that. Why do we need them to be these great guys? And why do we assume that JSS's departure will make it impossible for them to do what they're brilliant at in the future?

Don't get me wrong - the treatment of JSS is a disgrace - and most likely a big mistake too - but I've been a fan of these guys for over twenty years. If Journey play another show in London can I honestly say I won't go and see them play? No, I can't. I'll buy the ticket like I always do.

One of the horrendous byproducts of this divorce between JSS and Journey (/Neal) is it would seem as though my hopes for a follow up to World Play are wrecked, given it seems as if all is not cool between Jeff and Neal (The Soul SirkUs bandmate) and Cain (the studio provider).
I know Deano, Abs, NoMota, myself and NIG and many others were SS fans (NIG was won over after repeated listens to the timebomb that is World Play).
