I have been a looooooooong time lurker around here, reading these boards and loving this wonderful site Andrew has created for years now, and when I logged on early today I was shocked, outraged and simply saddened by this latest development, I was always proud to proclaim to anyone they were talking to the biggest Journey fan that they would probably ever meet. I'm not so ready to make that proclamation anymore.....I was thrilled and overjoyed at seeing the reborn Journey last year when Jeff hit the stage with them and I really can't believe that this is going down. I decided that if I was ever going to "un-lurk" myself, that there would be no better time as I wanted to add myself to the throng of you that are supporting Jeff and will continue to do so here on in.

I can honestly say that I most assuredly wont be attending any more Journey shows, I will enjoy the classics and what was long ago but there will be no new Journey in my future, I can't bring myself to support a group of people who would do this kind of thing. I know it can get rough around here and I don't plan to get in anyone's way or step on any toes, I just hope to continue enjoying this community only more publicly now hehe. Oh and I sure as hell am planning on the South Bend show....that lineup is just too awesome to say no to!!

:)

Bon

Yes I saw them several times w/SP, once w/SA and twice w/JSS, I will always be an SP fan, I've often said to friends that if he ever happened to finally de-hermit himself and graced a stage again, I would be there no matter where on this earth that stage was lol. But aside from him I was a fan of the music, I can't explain the excitement I felt when I first saw JSS, I really freaked when I heard Edge of the Blade start ..I was like OMG!! NO WAYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!! and then again when I heard Dead or Alive, those were the ones that sold me.

Baltimore, MD
"Dead or Alive"
The chemistry between Jeff & the rest of the band (especially the playfulness between Jeff & Deen) is what sold me on him. That was such an incredible show, and really led me to believe Journey was onto something big. What a dumbass, huh?
