With the antics of late, I doubt they're getting into the other.

But certain former members do, don't you agree??? That's what pisses me off! Their behavior is ruining the legacy that Steve Perry helped to create.

Good point and a subject worth mentioning. Journey fans, like myself, must feel ashamed right now. It's a difficult decision to stay loyal and respect a band who have no respect for anyone else. Don't they realise how bad they look right now and not just for sacking Soto, as that is fair enough if they don't want/like the guy, but the way they did it is disrespectful and cruel. Soto saved their asses and re-energised the band and the music, as well as deflecting the press from the backing tape scandal with Augeri... have we forgotten why Jeff was hired in the first place! The 'Hall of Fame' should reject their consideration of the grounds of unethical behaviour and being a disfunctional group who will change their lead singer in a heart beat. There is another post on here confirming that a tribute band singer has got the job! If that is true, I think it will be the final nail in their coffin. If they are too narrow minded and self obsessed to see the potential of having Jeff in the band then they don't deserve to be treated with any respect any more. Neal, if your reading this, which being an egomaniac, you probably are... then you should be ashamed of yourself, you bitter old man.

Indeed. I agree completely. Old Journey deserves it.
The Journey that created Evolution, Departure, Escape... sold millions of records, the Journey that toured the shit out of those records - THEY deserve it.

Sadly, it's not the same Journey we're talking about here (except for the part where they are still touring the shit out of THOSE records). I wonder now would it not have been a better idea to just leave it alone after 1987. With the whole TBF fiasco... and this is what it's reduced to. Sad sad sad.

Now we know they definitely didn't care to revitalize the band or its music.

Poor Jeff got used big time. Heck, Augeri was being used as well.

If people made fun of Journey before, its gonna be open season now.

They've dug themselves deep this time.

Hall of Fame? I don't think they'll ever make it now.

Well said. I agree that the band has every right to make the moves that they see fit..... BUT, they have no class at all, no integrity, and absolutlely no respect for their legacy or fans. They are gutless and lack any character. They truly should be ashamed of themselves, damn cowards.
