Maybe it was the "Pressure" that got to them...

"Insanity laughs
Under Pressure we're breaking.."

- Queen

Could it be that 'the pressure' Jeff brought to the table
is what finally led to his demise?

His on-stage persona put pressure on Neal and Co.
to bring their A-Game every-single-night.

His resume' and knack for writing great melodic rock
tracks put pressure on Friga and Schon to write a truly great
album because, as fans of both Jeff and Journey,
how could we expect anything less from a union
of these 2 great, song-writing entities???

Jeff's desire to put this band back on the map again
put pressure on the band to start doing more self-promotion than they've
been used to in the past 10 years... tv spots, radio shows, videos, events...

It could it be that these clowns just caved under the immense pressure
we fans were putting on them with Jeff's mere prescense in the fold
and from things they'd prematurely promised in interviews since
making Jeff an Official member.
Maybe they just felt, "Fuck! I'm too old for this shit!"
And then the insanity got the best of them
and they shit on the best thing to happen to
them since the mullet went out of style!
(Unless you live in a trailer... We know mullets still rule in them parts  )

Just a thought as to one aspect of why this happened...
Either way or for whatever reasons,
Napolean-Magic-Fingers and Friga-Fruit-Cake
have really lost a lot of faithful fans...

They fucked up big time!
