Idea to deal some consequences

There are some great posts today. My 2 cents.... Most people just go to concerts to have a good time and are not even aware that a band has so many changes that it has become a tribute band in disquise with a high price . People pay top $$$ and in ads the orig singers voice is still used. Deceptive!!!! Venues need to be contacted but they probably only want to sell tickets. So, today I contacted the writer at the Enquirer who handles AOR stories. I told her people need to read up on what orig members are still in the 80's bands that they think they are paying to see.I named Journey/ Styx/Foreigner as suggestions. She thought it was a great idea . I have to email her with additional comments . Any additional comments I could give her would be welcome. Can others here do the same with their local press? Who thought attending a concert would become caveat emptor but the price of the tickets makes it a fact in 2007.
