Hasn't this gotten a little silly bordering on childish? Journey is and always will be a great band. Jeff didn't make it through probation for some reason. If Journey ends up playing at a circus or wherever it is you all are having them go, I will go there. Too many happy memories with their music--wonderful, magical musicianship. They are getting older. They probably don't want to to waste too much time (like somebody else on the board said) if it doesn't feel right for them. Jeff is a lovely man; maybe he felt too "metal" for them, who knows? He will go on I would think especially with all the support he is receiving (from this board anyway). God speed to Jeremey--he is a very classy man; smart, too. I wish him well and if he doesn't get the job, I hope he comes back here.

Dean, I love you to death and all your posts but I felt like you jumped the shark a little when you showed your weiner(sp?) on the sports thread. Not a good image (for me anyway). I hate to say this but if I were some of the guys in Journey, I would be very, very,very careful about posting or even surfing the internet. It has just gotten too weird.

WTF do u mean? Are u insane? Probation. Jesus Christ. The man stopped what he was doing, cancelled gigs & ran to get on stage w/no rehearsal to bail the band out of a dirty situation. He spent all his spare time trying to unite the fan base. He was named "official". Having cancelled gigs w/his former band several times over, he went & finished that when all his commitments to Journey allowed. While doing just that, he got fired. No one told him why. When ur on probation, someone tells u why. They don't just hand u a pink slip. This is extremely RUDE of u to say.

I'm only going to comment on a couple of things in your post: despite the tone of your post and all the insults, Journey (Gregg, Ross, Robert, Jon, Steve S., Aynsley, Steve P., and Neal) remains a great band with a wonderful legacy of songs. County fairs aren't so bad, why bag on county fairs so much? My kids have had some wonderful times at those places. If Journey played there, God, that would be fantastic!! But they won't. I think a lot of Jeff and I feel bad for him. It just didn't work out for some reason that even you don't know, Suzi. I never said anyone in particular was weird; I felt that what has been posted on here recently and actually in the not too distant past has been weird. I see why SP and Jon and Neal don't post on these boards.

P.S. I would be very careful how you accuse others of "showing their ass"; reread your own post and you might gain some insight...

To me you did. I don't want to hurt your feelings--I just feel/felt you have gone almost completely out of control almost like AR did in some of his threads; to the point of losing credibility (with me, I'm speaking only for myself). You said you had a pretty serious health problem yet you've been putting away the beers; the Skrapp(sp?) Metal song "Swallow That Load" with AR--I hated it. Then the wiener pictures. Now the hatred of Journey and the apology to Augeri. It's too much for me. That's when you jumped the shark (to me). You LOVED Journey so much--that's how I became a fan of yours. Now it's haywire and depressing. That's about it. I miss the old Deano.

Behshad, you are silly, too. My kids having fun at a county fair is childish? Yes, I think so. They are kids so they would act childishly at the fair. Except, they aren't small children anymore sadly. They have all just about grown up. I did not get the point of your post. However, I have had enough so you don't need to elaborate, thanks.
